BMSCE admissions are entirely based on the rank and scores achieved by candidates in the entrance examinations. To get a seat in any of the programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by the counselling round conducted by the competent authority. Candidates should appear for either KCET/ COMEDK/ Karnataka PGCET/ GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT or MAT depending upon the programme for which candidates wish to apply for BMS College of Engineering admission.

BMS College of Engineering falls under management quota. A student with PCM in Class 12 with 60 percent and above can directly apply. At 75%, you would be eligible though you would have to apply in the admission office of the college. Direct admission involves no entrance exam, yet the fees are higher. The availability is determined by the seat vacancy in particular branches.

At the undergraduate level, the college offers three to four-year BE courses. The four-year BE is provided in 18 specialisations such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and others. At the postgraduate level, BMS College of Engineering offers two-year full-time MTech courses to students in 11 specialisations, two-year MBA, and MCA courses to students.

Candidates must follow certain procedure to take admission in any of the undergraduate or postgraduate programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. The procedure begins with filling out the BMSCE application form followed by an appearance in the entrance exam and counselling process. BMS College of Engineering course admission for all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is entirely based on entrance examination. STEP 1: Candidates must fill out the detailed BMS College of Engineering application form which is available on the BMSCE website. 

STEP 2: Then, candidates must appear for the entrance examination according to the programme for which they wish to apply for. BMS College of Engineering accepts the scores of KCET, COMEDK, Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, CMAT and various other entrance exams for admission in specific programmes.

STEP 3: After candidates receive the entrance scores, they must appear for the counselling process, confirm the seat and must pay BMS College admission fees.
