BMSIT&M MCA is a two-year post graduate course. Admission to the course will be entrance-based. Students must have a valid Karnataka PGCET course to apply.

Eligibility: A pass in bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST). Candidates with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST) with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Statistics as optional or electives.

Candidates who have studied and passed one of the specified subjects in the pre-university course with 50% marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission.

Go gain knowledge and have a good college life experience.

Placements: The placement here is very good they will provide placement training sessions. 30% of students got placed, still companies are still coming. The highest package till now is 11 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our MCA department are Fedility and Accenture. 30 students got internship opportunities. The top role is a data analyst.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BMSITM College is so cool, and filled with greenery. The Wi-Fi's availability will be 24/7 and the labs will be provided with systems but they don't clean the labs daily. Library you can take any book you want. A sports room is also available.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and friendly not everyone but most of them. They will clear your doubts. The teaching quality is very good. The course will be very helpful it will cover all languages like Python, Java, c, c#, and web development skills.

Overall, college is good.

Placements: Around 40% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Fidelity, and others. About 20% of students are placed in roles like SDA, cloud developer, associate software consultant, sales, SDET, and other entry-level roles.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, fully equipped labs, amazing library, and spacious classrooms. Facilities to help with studies are excellent. Hostel food and room quality are good, medical facilities are adequate. Sports and games facilities are also good at the university.

Faculty: All faculty members are good and course curriculum is relevant to the course. Semester exams are neither too easy nor too hard. It helps students become industry-ready, but at the same time, it is also lengthy and exhausting due to the number of exams that have to be written in a semester.

Good college and worthy to join.

Placements: In the 3rd semester, students are eligible and companies start coming for recruitment. In our batch, we got more than 50 opportunities. Most of the students got placed before the end sem and almost 85% get into reputed companies. The average package for MCA is 4LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. We get all the facilities like medical, canteen etc. Along with this we get an eco-friendly environment. There is too much greenery in our college that makes the place more beautiful. If someone prefer hostel I would say BMS is the best.

Faculty: As this college is close to city where lot of companies have their office so we get our curriculum including syllabus and internship from the working industry people. This helps to know the edge cutting technologies. Faculty members are very much supportive.

Placements: A number of students were placed in our course. Many companies are coming to recruit like Cerner, IBM etc. Some of the students got an internship from this course. The college is conducting placement classes to build the skills. It is helpful for placement in companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and has a peaceful atmosphere. Wi-Fi is available and there is no problem with labs like technical issues. Classrooms are very good and library has a huge collection of books. The food available in canteen is very good and tasty. Everything is clean.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are very good in teaching. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They help us at any time and guide us in a very good manner. Course helps to reach industry. There are discussions about the industry updates. Their teachings really help us to know more about industry.

Our college provides more than 80% placements with a good salary package.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered ranges between Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month. The average salary package offered ranges between 4.8-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Nokia and SAP visit our campus for placements. All the students from our course got an internship. A top role offered to the students is data analysis .

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our college are not as good as the other colleges. Wi-Fi and labs are very good. Our college provides the best hostel facility for students. A mess facility is very good. The cost of the hostel is also very reasonable when compared to other colleges.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very friendly towards the students, and they will help us at any time. The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry. The subject which we study is much needed in the industry right now.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and a good place to study.

Placements: Placements are good here. For my senior batch (2014-17) it was 90% plus placement and for my batch (2015-18) it's 70% done and still placements are going on. More than 80 companies including Endurance international, Aricent, Oracle, Amazon, Direct etc. Visits BMSIT for providing placement opportunities for the technical roles such as software engineer, system engineer, analyst, test automation engineer etc. The lowest package was 3.5LPA and average package was around 4-5 LPA the highest offered was around 12-14LPA. Almost all the students from my batch has got the internship, the lowest stipend is around 10k and the highest stipend is around 25k average stipend offered is 15K. Yes there is a placement cell very useful and efficient. Placement cell conducts training on regular intervals.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of BMSIT is on of the best in Bangalore, With good classrooms, excellent library available till 8 o clock at night, gym available for students during college hours and after that also, medical ambulance is available 24/7 in the college and hostel premisses a doctor is also available daily in college hostel. We have councelling session for those who need, all the sports facilities are available indoor and outdoor, every semester HPL tournament is conducted, canteen quality is good and only vegetarian food is available. Hostel rooms are excellent with daily room service and all the facilities. I did not face any infrastructure issues while my three years course in this college.

Faculty: We have excellent faculty members for PG courses. All faculty members are either Ph.D. holders or doing there Ph.D. with great knowledge in there area of expertise. Teaching quality is good and there are lot of technique used like partial delivery of course from industry person, project based learning, cooperative learning, technical seminar, workshops etc. Time to time industrial visit is arranged by the college for industry exposure. Course curriculum is very good with addition of new technologies such as Python, parallel computing etc. We have 12 faculty for a batch of 60 students.

Other: Every year college fest is organised and department fests are also organised, campus surrounding is excellent with lot of greenary, playground, canteen, parking space, security, extra co-curriclur activities are organised in respective departments.
