BMSIT review from a 2nd-year student.
Placements: Students placed in my CSE course are 75.37 percent, and the majority were selected by big companies. The highest package is 46.4 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, while the average package is around 9 LPA. The top companies that attended are Oracle, Siemens, Deloitte, Microsoft, Rapid, Atlassian, and others. The percentage of students who got internships is 80 percent in various big tech companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and some others. Top roles grabbed by students are SDE, Full Stack developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is modern and well-established. Lab blocks contain big classrooms with projectors, blackboards, and two CCTV cameras fitted. The Wi-Fi speed is fast. The library is big, with a huge variety of books and journals. Labs contain all modern equipment. Hostel facilities are also good, and the mess food is good. Medical facilities are available in the hostel. Hostel Wi-Fi is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and reachable. They have immense knowledge of their subjects and are highly qualified. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and helps us become industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester-end exams is moderate, one can score marks easily by studying 1–2 weeks prior. The pass percentage is around 70 percent.

Review of BMSIT by a 2nd-year student
Placements: Students placed in my course, CSE, are around 75 percent, and the majority are selected in big product-based FAANG companies. The highest package is 46.4 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, while the average package is around 9 LPA. Top companies that came are Oracle, Siemens, Deloitte, Microsoft, Rapid, Atlassian, etc. The percentage of students who got internships is approximately 75 percent in various big tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Oracle, etc. Top roles grabbed by students are SDE, Full Stack developer, DevOps, data engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite modern and well-established. Lab blocks have big and spacious classrooms with projectors and blackboards. Every class has two CCTV cameras fitted. The Wi-Fi speed is fast and available throughout the campus. The library is vast, with a huge variety of books and journals from every department. Labs contain all the latest and modern equipment. Hostel facilities are also quite good, but the mess food is of average quality, though edible. Sometimes it is good as well. Medical facilities are available 24/7 in the hostel. Hostel Wi-Fi is also good and provides high speed.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and reachable. They have immense knowledge of their subjects and are highly qualified. The teaching quality is very good here at BMSIT&M. The course curriculum is relevant according to today’s market needs. It helps us become industry-ready by gaining various modern-day skills like AI-ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity, etc. The difficulty level of semester-end exams is moderate, but the evaluation of answer sheets is quite tough, so it is not very easy to score marks. However, in some subjects, one can score well by studying 2–3 weeks prior. The pass percentage is around 70–75 percent.
Other: I chose this course as I had been a coding freak since my school days and love to code for the benefit of society. Events and fests that happen here in college are also good.

Electrical life in a college of good placements.
Placements: Electrical branch has a placement rate of about 80–90 percent, with the highest around 20 LPA, the average around 6–7 LPA, and the lowest around 2–3 LPA. Top companies that visited here are Tata, Amazon, TCS, and more. About 75–80 percent get internship offers from companies like BHEL, BEL, and ISRO also. Roles are technical assistant, power engineer, assistant engineer, and many more. There is stipend also provided on the basis of their work. So maintain your CGPA and learn some basic coding also for a better job.
Infrastructure: The class takes place in the academic block of our college, which has fans, good tables, as well as a good amount of light in the whole class. The speed of Wi-Fi within the campus is very good anywhere you go. Labs are within the academic block as well as in the BSN block of our college. The library is also in our college, which is in very good shape for study purposes. There is a variety of food for each day of the week in both the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are also there for anyone, and you can play some sports in the college ground in free time.
Faculty: The semester exams are a little bit hard compared to other streams as it is one of the toughest branches, but they can be scored well if you have studied almost all the topics very well. The pass percentage is around 70–80 percent. The course is very nice for the upcoming years as it has very good scope. Students will get everything they want from this college and also they will build themselves. The teachers here have very good command in each and every subject, with some of them holding and also getting higher salaries upon their skills too. So the level is okay.
Other: I have a good interest in the electrical department, that’s why I chose this course in BMSIT, and I think the resources this college provides are the best in the top 10 COMEDK colleges. The things which need to be improved here are that some more qualified teachers should come under this stream and have some input in coding subjects as well. There are two events happening in our college which are Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav every year. Every day there is an event going on, the crowd here is very big, but connectivity is very poor, and the whole campus is very green.

AI/ML branch of BMSIT college.
Placements: AI/ML have placement rate of about 80-85 percent in every semester. The highest package is found to be 46 LPA, average is 8 LPA and the lowest is around 3-4 LPA. The top companies which come here are Dell, Google, Rapid, TCS and many more. More than 1000 internships available here in every semester with some paid too. The roles which they get by the company are based on their skills as well as CGPA they have till 3rd year. So keep CGPA above 8, it will be good for placements.
Infrastructure: The classes of AI/ML run in the BSN block which are big enough for 70+ students. Labs are located there itself in the BSN block for all streams. The speed of Wi-Fi is around 100 Mbps and there is a library for all the students in the BSN block which has a good collection of articles and books. The food quality in hostel is very good all the day; for emergency there is medical staff too with an ambulance van. Ground is there for sports and skill lab for indoor games. Overall it is good with a gym also provided.
Faculty: The semester exams are of good level in which you can score well if you have read important topics and it is of 100 marks; about 80-90 percent get passed in every semester exams. There are two IA tests also of 40 marks for 2 or 3 modules. The course curriculum is relevant as it gives good idea of both coding as well as machine learning. The students will gain a good level of ideas for their future placements. The teachers here are very helpful in nature and they all have higher degrees in their subjects with good idea.
Other: My rank was above 10k; that's why I have to choose AI/ML instead of CSE. AI/ML is a good course along with CSE stream. The best things about the course is it contains all things such as coding, machine learning, speaking skills as well as many extra subjects for overall growth. There are two fests happening in our college that are Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav. Many events are also there for all types of branches and campus is very good in look as it is covered with green trees; airport and railways are about 20 km from the college which is far.

Life in AIML department of a student in BMSIT college.
Placements: In my branch around 901 offers are made in which 658 students are selected by companies. The highest package is around 46.4 LPA, the lowest is 3–4 LPA, and average is 8.07 LPA. The companies visited our college are HCL, AWS, Google, and many more. From 5th semester everyone is ready for internship and about 1200 plus offers were made with a stipend too. The top roles are software developer, AI engineer, technical lead role, and many more.
Infrastructure: In my college there is Wi-Fi spread all over the campus with a good amount of speed for students. Labs are there for subjects like Maths, Chem, Physics for 1st and 2nd semester students located in the BSN block. Classrooms are very big and have all the modern tools like fans, lights, projector, table. Library is also for students in the BSN block of the college. The food quality is very tasty and has variety also for both veg and non-veg students. Medical is available too there with an ambulance whole day. You can play sports in a ground as well as indoor games too.
Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable with degrees and some of them are HOD in their respective subjects also. Quality is good if you are keeping close look on the classes that teachers are taking there. Curriculum is very relevant for the students there as it makes them ready for the next 4 years and helps them in getting their dream package. The semester exams are very easy as it can be passed just before one night and it is of total 100 marks and about 60 out of 70 students get passed every year.
Other: I have chosen AIML because it is similar to CSE on the basis of contents as well as circular. The best things about the course is you can easily learn about all the aspects of CSE subjects too. I think the things which need to be improved is more focus on practical things rather than theory subjects. Two events take place in my college: Kalarva and Utsaha Vaibhav every year in our campus. Campus crowd is too huge and it is covered with trees everywhere, but connectivity is long and too many events are there every day in the college.

BMSIT&M review from a 2nd year student.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in CSE in 2025 are around 75 percent. The highest package is 46.4 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and average is around 8.97 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Atlassian, Microsoft, Infosys, Rapid, Deloitte, Siemens. Around 75 percent students got internship either from college or external source (companies like IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.). Top roles offered are: SWE, SDE, Full Stack developer, data engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our course/department include big classrooms, huge blocks with department-related labs (having the latest equipment), a library with huge variety of books and journals, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The quality of facilities provided in hostel is also good. Hostels contain Gym (fully equipped), Mess (normal quality of food), Indoor Sports Room, and a medical room with a doctor for emergency case.
Faculty: Teachers here at BMSIT&M are highly qualified and quite knowledgeable too. They help us not only in our studies but also in our projects and hackathons. Teaching quality is also good. Don’t have any complaint. Course curriculum is also relevant, and advancements keep being made. The curriculum is built in a way that it helps us to be industry-ready too. Semester exams are moderate in toughness, and anyone can score good marks if they start studying a week or two before exams.
Other: I chose CSE as the software tech-related side of jobs always excited me, and the best things about my course are that it is currently the most trend and easy to grab a job field. Rest the events, fest, crowd all are also okay of the college.
