B.Sc. in Agriculture - Batch of 2027
4.2

College is the best because of faculty and the worst because of politics.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest is 1 LPA. Fertilizer and agro-based companies are recruiting. Top roles are in banking, law, and civil services. Agriculture is a developing sector in India, so there is much scope in which you can go into and enjoy the future.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good with infrastructure and excellent teachers. You'll love learning. Wi-Fi is also available in labs with equipment. You are free to use and rest all the equipment, although for some practical reasons, they ask us to get our equipment at our own expense.
Faculty: As I said, the teachers are very good at their work and you'll enjoy learning. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are passionate about teaching. The course curriculum is also relevant. Although you have to be industry-ready by yourself, with the teacher's guidance.
Other: Fests are yearly organized and the campus is happening.

Affordable education with good campus life and strong academic support.
Placements: A good number of students get placed, probably around 70%. The top companies that visit our campus include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and a few startups as well. The highest package goes up to 12 LPA, and the average is around 4.5 LPA. Many students also get internships during the course, especially in their final year. The college’s placement cell is supportive and conducts regular training sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude tests, which help boost confidence.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is honestly pretty decent. Classrooms are well-maintained, and labs have the necessary equipment. There's campus-wide Wi-Fi, which works well most of the time, and the library is stocked with both course books and additional resources. Hostels are clean and have all the basic facilities. The messy food is okay, not amazing, but manageable. There's a medical room, sports ground, and space for indoor games, which is great if you like to stay active. The overall environment feels safe and student-friendly.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and supportive. Some go the extra mile to explain things clearly and help you even outside of class. The curriculum is well-structured and updated with current industry trends, especially useful if you're into coding or tech fields. Exams are not too difficult if you study regularly, and internal assessments also help in preparation. The passing percentage is usually quite good, and the pressure is manageable if you keep up with classes.
Other: I chose this course because I’m always interested in technology and problem-solving. The practical approach and project work are some of the best things about it. What I’d like to see improve is more live projects and real industry exposure. Campus life is fun. There are plenty of events, fests, tech competitions, and cultural programs happening throughout the year. The crowd is a mix of students from different backgrounds, which makes it lively. We also have scholarships for eligible students and several active clubs for coding, robotics, arts, and more.

Not the worst choice for nearby residents but definitely should not be the go-to choice for anyone.
Placements: My batch is yet to graduate. Average packages offered range from 1-3 LPA to 5-9 LPA (depending on companies). Very few students also manage to bag more than 15-20 LPA (again, depending on companies' criterion). Frequent companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, and a few more. But most companies visiting hire mostly CS branches and select few companies hire core branches.
Infrastructure: Very average classroom sitting facilities. Wi-Fi speed is slow and unstable, but it’s kind of okay and works most of the time. Labs are kind of average too, except select few. The library is relatively good and actually has almost all recommended textbooks for the course. Hostels are good but overcharged. Hostel Wi-Fi is always unstable. The mess/canteen food is just total ***. They aren’t even trying to cook anything. Sometimes, the food isn't even edible. T_T. There is a medical/first aid facility on the campus and 2 ambulances for anything more than first aid. Sports and games facilities: no indoor games, outdoor: 1 small football ground, 1 volleyball court, and 1 basketball court. There is 1 cricket ground on the campus but not owned by the college, so not for general use except for tournaments.
Faculty: Teachers are actually very good overall. Some are industry-experienced, have vast and in-depth knowledge of the subjects, and are willing to mentor you personally if you are a dedicated student. The curriculum is AICTE-based. Not totally relevant to making students industry-ready. Not every teacher or professor explains things in relevance to real-world problems. Exams aren't hard to pass but require a bit of effort to score more than good. However, if you have good assignment, quiz, and lab scores, it’s easier. Generally, all students pass the exams except a few or those who were absent.
Other: The teaching methods should include more practical knowledge than just cramming theories and facts. And there actually should be tasks relevant to what we will need to be industry-ready. There are 2 major events: 1 freshers’ and one college fest. There's also an annual athletics meet. There is good crowd but only 2 small park/lawn-like areas to sit or hang out. The college is in very outskirts from the city, so there is nothing really in the surroundings except a few scattered housing societies. But there is a market area for daily necessities through the college back GATE.

Really a good college. You should join good placement and campus. Good placement in 2023.
Placements: College has good campus. Many companies come and also placement is good in core branches like EE, ME, and civil, like 90% but CSE is low about 60%. Average package for CSE is 3 LPA, and core branches is 5L PA. The highest last year was 19 LPA. Top companies are Bajaj and Jindal Groups. In my batch, 80% of students got internships at Tata. Top roles offered are JE or AE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good in our department. It has fully centralized AC classroom with smartboards, laboratories, and all. Good library department has Wi-Fi facility in each classroom. Hostel and mess quality are also very good. It has nice sports infrastructure like cricket ground, football ground, basketball, volleyball, badminton, swimming pool, and many more.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching style is good. Course is very good, it makes students industry-ready. They provide good teaching and all. They provide notes and helpful materials. Exams are conducted from time to time. Pass percentage is 40% in final exams.

The college is average. If you have the money, I would suggest taking admission to KIIT after inter.
Placements: Lat year, in B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, out of 900 students, around 850 students get placed. The placement rate is approximately 91%, which is quite phenomenal. The highest package is 45 LPA and the lowest, I’m not sure, but I guess it is around 2 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon, Jindal, and Tech Mahindra. Internships are not valued here, so I don’t have any clue if anyone does an internship. The top role is web development.
Infrastructure: The classes and labs are quite good, but there is one problem with Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi only works in hostels and not in classrooms. The seats are quite comfortable to sit on. Electrical branch labs have AC. Facilities in the hostel are good too. They provide washing machines, and we have a decent table, chair, bed, and wardrobe. The toilets are good as well. The college also focuses on sports and games, with a huge cricket ground and football ground.
Faculty: A few teachers are helpful, but not all of them. Some help students crack college exams, while others seem to pre-decide to fail them no matter what. That is how it works here. The course curriculum is relevant and surely makes students ready. Semester exams are not difficult if you study, of course. The pass percentage is more than 60%.

Review of C. V. Raman Global University.
Placements: I am a student in 2nd semester of artificial intelligence and data science. Students having skills matching the company requirements get placements with a package ranging from 3-7 LPA. Some companies offer a high package of 10 LPA. Students also get internship offers if they work hard and stand out in the race.
Infrastructure: Some labs are well-equipped and some are not. Classrooms are good but do not have AC in general. Wi-Fi is available. It has a huge library but in summer it is difficult to survive. In the hostel, the mess food is the worst. If students are vegetarians, they are going to face a lot of problems here.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and good. Some of them just go to class and read PPTs. In this college, you cannot expect much. In a semester, two exams are conducted like mid-semester exam of 20 marks and end semester exam of 50 marks. Quizzes are conducted regularly. The course curriculum is as outdated as any other engineering college

Placement doesn't solely depend on your academic CGPA. It is about your skills you have developed and how well it is beneficial for yhe companies. But you will have to maintain a gpa of atleast 7.5 to appear for on campus interviews of good companies.
