NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, C. V. Raman Global University ranks #96 under the category 'Engineering'.
The CAT 2025 admit card will now be released on Nov 12, 2025, for C. V. Raman Global University admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
- The MAT Dec 2025 registrations are now open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 7, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 13, 2025. Moreover, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Dec 15, 2025, and the exam date is Dec 21, 2025.
- The OJEE 2026 registration process for admission to BTech, BPharma, MBA, and MCA courses will tentatively start around the last week of Jan 2026.
- The JEE Main registration 2026 is now open for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The registration deadline for session 1 is Nov 27, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The ATMA 2026 registration for the Feb session exam for admission to MBA/PGDM and MMS courses is expected to start in Dec 2025.
- The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
- The GATE 2026 application rectification window is open for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses, and the closing date is Nov 10, 2025. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

In short, the college is a good choice for you for your UG course for the next 4 years.
Placements: As asked from seniors and known from other sources, the average stands at 4 to 5LPA. Some students also got placed with an annual of 9.75LPA. Big techs like Cisco, JP Morgan visited for the academic year batch of 2020 to 2025 and recruited students up to 25LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained well and ventilated, most CS labs are air conditioned, and Wi-Fi conditions are good, but they need to be improved. The mess food is good, but it also needs to be improved. Moreover, the hostel rooms are also well maintained and in line with modern architecture.
Faculty: Faculty is kind of good and experienced, with some assistant professors as new joinees who provide ample amount of knowledge and good lectures within the day, and assignments and quizzes headache is not there very commonly. The student teacher interaction goes well in the classroom.
Other: Events are mainly organised at big festivals such as Diwali and Holi. And the main event, which is the college fest, is celebrated every year, thats the elegance.

For B.Tech, it’s a good college, not the best, but good.
Placements: According to my seniors, placements are good, but not as good as you might expect. Companies do come, but it depends on how well you prepare. Enough companies visit, some with low packages, some with high, and it depends on how skilled and hardworking the student is.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, hostel and mess food is good. I’ve seen on social media that some say the college food is the worst, but I think it’s good. They need to add some variety, like milk, tea, extra snacks, or a better morning breakfast, sometimes they give only one dosa, which is very little in quantity, not taste.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. If you listen carefully, all exam answers are discussed in class, so you don’t need to study overnight, If you talk to them nicely, they are the best in your eyes. They are well-educated, not all, but they try to help everyone pass the exams.
Other: All students are good, and there is no ragging here. Nice campus.

Well, my college is an average college with some good faculty.
Placements: In my course, I am not sure about the placement percentage, and I’m also not sure about the highest, lowest, and average package. Well, Qualcomm, AMD, and JSPL are the top recruiting companies for our course. The major roles offered are VLSI design engineer and embedded system engineer. Almost 60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Well, our classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and we have many labs in our ECE department, we have an average-sized library with a moderate Wi-Fi connection, the hostels are good, fully air-conditioned, and even have a badminton court inside. The food is okay, but not good enough.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and does make students ready for upcoming industry challenges. The exams in my college are moderate, not too difficult, and there is a high pass percentage depending on your performance.
Other: I chose the ECE branch because it provides opportunities in both hardware and software work lines.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and college team, including security and campus life.
Placements: Around 75% students get placement according to college. The lowest is 2.45 LPA. The college does not refer you or train you for internship. If you want that background, you have to apply in different college and get internship.
Infrastructure:
Facilities are like normal lower class facilities. Wi-Fi is not working properly. Classrooms are not like an engineering college. Library is decent. Low-level facilities are present in hostel, not fun. Nothing else. Food is average according to me.
Faculty: Some teachers are very well behaving, and others are behaving like it is their own college. Security guards behave like your father bad college. No, this course curriculum is not relevant. No semester exam is good, but teachers don't tell you what is coming or what is important, only come, get the attendance, read some PPT, and go.

Everything is fine, but there are almost no events or functions like fresher's party.
Placements: Above average. We haven't got the placement yet as we are the freshers here. We are still getting internships, and many companies like Infosys and Microsoft are taking interns. I don’t have much knowledge in this as this is new for me.
Infrastructure: Average. It is fine for food, and there is an issue with Wi-Fi, we usually don't get the Wi-Fi. The lab teachers are fine, and the library is good, but all these need renovation. The canteen and mess need improvement, but the food items are good, though it feels boring eating the same food.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but some teachers don't teach well. I guess this might be common in every college. Examination part I don’t know much as I am also new here. We have exams, we had quizzes, and it is online, so I don’t need to say anything.

Incredibly satisfied with college infrastructure, its academic, its placement in 2025, really good.
Placements: SEE, if you talk about the placement in CV Raman College, the placement comes top notch. The obvious placement for CSE branches goes minimum 5 LPA and ranges till 35 LPA like JP Morgan, and sometimes Microsoft also comes. Overall, I am satisfied with TPO of college. Also, the placement of other branches is really excellent like Adani, Voltas, L&T, Bosch, Siemens, and other core companies have visited the campus placement a lot of times and have taken handful of students.
Infrastructure: I tell you, all across Odisha, the best infrastructure for classes or hostel is holding C V Raman College. The girls hostel has already a lot of facilities like shopping complex, stationery shops, and all shops within it. Boys hostel has same again things, parallel consisting of gaming areas, sports complex inside hostel. Now, talking about the college premises and infrastructure that holds academic, it's excellent. Faculty: Teachers are so knowledgeable that they will guide you not only for your academic courses but also for competitions like GATE, WorldSkills. All faculty members are mostly Ph.D. and really good faculty members. Course curriculum is relevant, helpful for GATE exam. Semester exams are moderate level if you study well enough.
Other: I chose B.Teach because my whole family has studied from CV Raman College because of its amazing infrastructure and academic, also most important, its placement. Fest is the best deal of college. I enjoyed the CElegance fest a lot.

Placement doesn't solely depend on your academic CGPA. It is about your skills you have developed and how well it is beneficial for yhe companies. But you will have to maintain a gpa of atleast 7.5 to appear for on campus interviews of good companies.

Between Utkal University and CV Raman Global University, the former is more affordable for BBA. Since the tuition fee for Utkal University is INR 360 – 2.3 lakh. On the other hand, the fee at the CV Raman Global University is INR 3.6 lakh.
