The college is very big and mainly the infrastructure like lab, library is good .
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in a year. The highest package is 3 lacs and the lowest package is 1.5 lacs. The top requiter company is JBM, Hero, Wipro, TCS, etc. 90% of students got an internship in Flipkart.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and the lab is very big. All the classrooms are under CCTV, and a big library is available. The hostels are good but the distance between the hostel and college is around 5 kms. For this, bus facilities are available for hostel students. A canteen is available on the hostel campus. The college has also two medical Colleges attached so medical facilities are very helpful. And two sports ground are available for playing. Besides carrom, table tennis facilities are also available.
Faculty: All the teachers are so good. They clear our doutbs very sincerely. They are very educated and their teaching quality is 8 out of 10. Yes, it makes the student industry ready. The semester exam is very difficult because it is hard.

Review of Calcutta Institute of Technology.
Placements: I am a final year student of Diploma electrical engineering. At CIT, from the 5th semester, the campus placements start. Well-known companies like Kiswok Industries, Nirmal Group of Wires, Group Antolin, Badve Engineering, etc., came here. More than 70% of students get placed every year. Internships and industrial training are also available in Flipkart, Myntra etc. The highest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well organised and maintained. Good transportation facilities are available for emergency purposes. From the college library, we can get various course-related books and previous year question papers. But the condition of the canteen is not much good, and it needs immediate improvement.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and supportive. They teach us in a very friendly and easiest way. They also arrange special classes on soft skills to improve our communication skills in English. They also provide us with course-related books, short notes and PDFs, which are really helpful for the preparation of the semester exams.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because this is a core subject, and I will be eligible for both government and private jobs, and I can get better job offers in this field. The campus is calm, huge and lush green, suitable for studying. They organise model presentation programme like tech expo, tree plantation programme, annual sports event, social events like dance, singing, drawing etc. Sports arrangements are there like cricket, football, and table tennis.

A college with good faculty members, pickup and drop facilities, good placement opertunities.
Placements: As our college have a good placement cell, we have a great chance to be placed in a well-known company like Tech Mahendra, Infosys, India Thermit corporation Ltd, RDC, and many more. Our previous batch got an average of 80 to 85% placements in above-mentioned companies. As I am now pursuing my Diploma in Electrical engineering (6th sem), working in India Thermit corporation Ltd as a site in charge. The average salary for Diploma students offered by these companies is R.s 12,000 per month, and for B.Tech it's R.s16,000-17,000 per month.
Infrastructure: This college has a good infrastructure including free Wi-Fi facilities, well-arranged labs, library with reading room, and canteen. There is no proper playground for sports and games. The food available in the canteen is good enough, and hostel rooms are perfect but little costly. Ragging and any harassment are strongly prohibited on the college campus or hostel.
Faculty: This college has a great number of well-qualified teachers, lab assistants. Every department HOD's are gold medalist from various universities. There are two teachers available for every single subject (theory and lab), a regular basis industrial visit provided for every department.
Other: Teachers day and other social activities are performed every year. You can come here through the bus, local trains. The campus surroundings are not too rich because it is located on NH 6, that's why the population around it is less. The scholarships are available by semester results and other activities.
