Review of Carmel College of Engineering And Technology, Alappuzha.
Placements: The placement process in our college is in the beginning stages. The highest package is 13 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3.5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc. Almost more than 50 percent of the students get placed each year.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are much better, as the students are able to study in a calm and peaceful environment without being distracted by any other means. The lab facilities and the Wi-Fi facilities are excellent. The canteen is the place where students find themselves more interested in different engaging activities.
Faculty: The teachers or the faculty members are very efficient and are very engaging in their respective works and the students are also satisfied with the college. The semesters in the college curriculum are difficult due to the widespread COVID disease, which resulted in a delay of about five months in starting the curriculum.

Satisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: Overall placements are average. About half of students were placed in MNCs. Infosys is one of the top recruiting company among them. The lowest package offered is5 Lacs an year. About 80% of students got internship in technopark. Roles offerrd are discipline, learn how to work in an environment.
Infrastructure: Library has Wi-Fi connection and students get all types of study materials from the library. Classrooms are well managed and digitalized. Labs are well maintained. Overall good infrastructure with good facilities. Tgere is seperate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: Well teaching sraff most of the teachers were Ph.D. holders. It makes students ready to work industry but student hot only less practical knowledge. 2 internal exsms are conducted in a sem and an end semester is also conducted. Pass percentage is hslf of total marks.

A developing college that has room to improve.
Placements: A good percentage of students get placed, especially if you are studying computer Science and engineering but you got to excel in your field. For other branch students, placement is hard. You can go for internships only if the college agrees. Companies like IBM, Wipro, Byjus, etc. hire students.
Infrastructure: The hostel and college infrastructure are good. There is Wi-Fi in the college and hostel. Library is aesthetic with important books. There is a sports ground in front. The engineering college block might seem a bit displeasing to the eyes as it has less space so things are cramped in.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teaches good. They would clear doubts anytime. The course curriculum is very relevant as the college is under KTU. Semester exams are not hard if you work for it. It is only understandable. A good percentage of students passed. You don't have to study 24/7 as the teachers help a lot with the important topics.
Other: Events and fests are less. You would get an aesthetic feeling in the campus. Extracurricular activities are less compared to other colleges. Computer Science and engineering is the best course to study here.

The college is just above average and has almost all basic facilities .
Placements: Around 60-70% of students from my course got placed. It wasn't 100% but still a decent number managed to get jobs through campus placements The highest package was around 6-7 LPA the lowest was about 2-3 LPASome of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and a few smaller IT companies and About 50-60% of students got internships. Some got it through the college and others applied on their own.
Infrastructure: Almost all the facilities are available there are 5 computer labs and Wi-Fi available to all the students and the canteen only has snacks and as food only biryani is available and the hostel is combined for the Polytechnic and engineering students and the infrastructure of the hostel is not that pleasing as there is no power sockets inside the rooms we have to use the sockets in the study rooms etc.
Faculty: The teachers are good and well qualified and they teach nicely so we can understand easily the syllabus is from ktu and not very hard if we study a bit the exams are also from ktu and are easy to manage if we prepare properly and listen in class regularly.
Other: I chose this course because it's future proof and I am into computers and the improvement needed is that the exams could be a bit more easier There are various events like college day, arts day, teach fest, onam christmas eid celebration stc.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements with scope for improvement.
Placements: Around 50% of CSE students got placed. The highest package was 13 LPA, the lowest 3.5 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Microsoft. About 20–30% of students got internships through MOUs. Roles offered included software developer, analyst, and support profiles.
Infrastructure: Carmel Engineering College had Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a central library. Hostels were decent with good security. The mess food was average. The canteen was better. Sports, medical aid, and recreation facilities were available for students.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive, qualified, and approachable with good teaching quality. The curriculum was industry-relevant with practical exposure. Exams were moderately tough but manageable. The pass percentage was high, around 80–90%, with proper guidance. I liked it.
Other: I chose this course for a good career scope in teaching. The best part was the practical labs, supportive teachers, and placement opportunities. It needed more internships and industry tie-ups. The campus had fests, cultural events, active clubs, scholarships, and a friendly crowd. Located in Alappuzha, it had decent connectivity and a green, calm atmosphere. It is good for academics and extracurricular growth.

Good campus and really good infrastructure.
Placements: 10% students got placed. Average package is 5 to 10 lacs. Top recruiting companies are not much sure on this roles. 20% of students got internship. The lowest package offered was 1.8 lacs. This institution is run by fathers and it's one of the best.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms and library were available. Library was very nice and labs is also in good condition. Quality of food provided was nice and canteen food is not good. Facilities for sports and games are also available. Medical facilities are very less comparatively.
Faculty: Teachers are good, highly qualified. Teaching quality is also nice. It's fine and relevant. This institution is run by fathers and is very strict in terms of education. They provide very good education and teachings. But college fees is very expensive.
