A choice that will be worth it.
Placements: Every year, 80% of students get placed. The average package is 4.5 LPA. TCS, Cisco, and Infosys companies frequently come to the campus. The highest package offered this year is 15 LPA. Students often struggle to get internships because of the high competition and lack of opportunities, which have been happening generally in the industry.
Infrastructure: In our university, the infrastructure of the extracurricular activities and other things is pretty good. It has a very good library with Wi-Fi, canteens. Mess facilities are not bad. For sports and games, the university has better opportunities. The university has many tea centres. There are many hostels, so we have an option to take a university where we could eat the food on the university campus at the price of the university hostel. There are proper basketball courts and a shuttle court. A football field is also present at the university.
Faculty: Semester examinations and all other things conducted are evaluated by the university itself. The external faculty members and others are not so much problem. The course curriculum is pretty relevant because it has been updated recently, which includes a mandatory internship every year. Almost everyone is able to pass examinations if they are studying responsibly.

The future engineering aspirants .
Placements: Almost half of the total students are getting placed each year. It responds to the academic performance we offer. As a first-year student, I don't have much knowledge about the placement packages. An average of 24 lakh per year is an average placement package. Top companies include TCS, IBM, Cisco and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and maintenance of the college are very pathetic. Labs, classrooms and the library are there in the college but are not well maintained. The hostel mess is quite good. The college doesn't have good medical facilities. Sports and games are also not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good, as they teach us well. They do a good job in their professions. We are very grateful for them. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are quite difficult. But they give us 10 days of leave before that, which is a good option.

Great infrasture and facilities, above average placements, average faculty members.
Placements: 90% students are placed in our course. The highest package received so far is 29LPA. The lowest package recieved is 3LPA. Average package is 4.5LPA. Companies such tcs, wipro, accenture, ibm, adobe, infosys has recruited our students. 100% students got internships in well known startups like Kerala startup mission and well known companies like linkedin, github, amazon, figma etc. Top roles offered in the course are webdevelopers, team leads, web designers.
Infrastructure: College library has Wi-Fi, is fully air conditioned, has CUSAT restaurant with good food and reasonable price, sports arena, university ground, seminar complex with international infrastructure, hostels for all both means and women including mess facilities, cittic center for idea pitching and funding for start up ideas, CUSAT health centre. All the faculty members are experienced and many have research papers, .
Faculty: Syllabus is quite wide compared with ktu, teachers are really helpful, some teachers seem to be boring but there are great teachers, curriculum is relevent and make student industry ready. Exams are quite diffult compared with ktu colleges. Pass percentage is 50

Below average college but worth the fee charged.
Placements: Placements for non CS/IT are worse. If you are an CS/IT graduate with no backlogs then you will get placed. Most of them are average companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. And offer around 3.5lpa. A very few offer around 5-7 LPA and only 1 was placed with an offer of 29 lpa from Cisco. So placements are average and mostly service company come. Don't expect any product based companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. You won't find them here.
Infrastructure: There is a very small library available. Classrooms aren't up to mark and there is only one building that makes the whole campus. No proper labs available. Other branches travel to the main campus for lab services. Medical facilities are nil in campus. You can got to a nearby government consultation. There are no hostels and everyone lives outside in private hostels or PG. Canteen food is poor. Wi-Fi has improved in the last few years. Facilities are less near campus. You need to travel around 10km away to get to the nearest city.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful here. Since the syllabus is of CUSAT it is good and overall not too outdated. Most of teachers are temporary. But at the end if you don't put in max effort you may not feel great about it. I don't think the curriculum makes you industry ready here.
Other: There are rarely any event and we travel to other colleges or main campus to attend events. There hasn't been a tech-fest here. It only occurred once till date. Arts fest happens every year and that is only thing students here enjoy the most.

I am dissatisfied by the principal and bad infrastructure. It is great placement in history for 2019
Placements: Placements are held on CUSAT main campus. If you have passed the examinations, you will definitely get placed from college. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 29 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cisco, etc., visit our campus for recruitment. Top roles offered are as a developer, maintenance, etc. In our course, the salary package offered ranges from 5.2 LPA to 30 LPA. Around 90% of the students got internships in Cochin based companies, TCS, Infosys and many other reputed companies.
Infrastructure: CUCEK is the 2nd campus of CUSAT. The certificate and all other facilities are the same. The college has 6 different engineering branches and one MCA. There is a well-developed Wi-Fi around it, one from google and other is college-based. Classrooms are smart, and labs are well maintained, but mech lab and civil lab not available. The college has a small library outside. There are no hostels around the college. The food served is awesome, Kuttanadan food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well educated and very supportive. We get great support from our teachers than the faculty members from our main campus. The teaching is not so effective, but their support is excellent. Students who study at this college are ready for everything.
Other: I opted for this course because it is the best course available currently. Work from home, high salary, effortless, tech lover all comes under the advantages of CSE. There are a lot of languages available for coding, and this should be unified to some. Everything else is at the peak. Fest name is Innovia, and there are around 3000 students on our campus, and a well-established network is available. The campus is surrounded by water. Extracurricular activities involve arts and sports.

For campus placements, it's very good.
Placements: More than 70% of the students are placed from CSE. The highest salary offered is 1.25 Lacs per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Cisco, Soti, Nishan, etc., are the top recruiters. Roles of a software engineer are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 29 LPA, and it was offered by Cisco. The lowest salary package offered is 3.35 LPA, and it was offered by TCS. Only 5-10% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the is the worst, but other facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are good. There are no hostel and mess facilities provided, but the facilities of sports are good. Basketball and football are played here. There is not a good ground for cricket. Net pitch is available here.
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, but some of them are very helpful and friendly. All are qualified. Some of them are temporary faculty, and some are permanent. The course curriculum is very relevant. Surely, it makes the students industry-ready.

The college is situated in Kerala and it is very scenic.
Placements: 60% of the students are placed in service based companies like TCS, Wipro. The average salary is around 3.2 lacs and the highest salary is 15 lacs (one of the student from IT Branch got placed ). TCS is the biggest recruiter with 125 placements. Companies like TCS, wipro, Musigma, Verizon India (Pool campus ), Snapdeal. Most of the students with at least one backlog till final year are placed in service based companies.
Infrastructure: The college is a state government autonomous college. It is situated in Pulincunnu in Alappuzha district of Kerala. It lacks Wi-Fi facilities. However the library is there, labs are not at par. The college has no hostel facilities. Students are living with local people of the area in their accommodation. We have to prepare our own food. However, cooks are also easily available in that area.
Faculty: The senior most faculty members are M.Tech or Ph.D. they are good and knowledgeable. However, there are some new faculty members who joined the college after finishing B.Tech and they are studying M.Tech from the same college are not so good. The course is not at par with the industry standards. However it is up to the students.
Other: The good thing about the college is it is a state government college where fees is not much high and students are getting placed. I choose this college to get placement in some good IT company. The course is not at par with the industry standard. However there are some tech fests and sports fest in the college which are good.

Study in a peace and serene atmosphere with the beauty of kuttanad.
Placements: 1.60% is the average placement offered in my course.
2. 30K- 80K is offered by the companies.
3. IBM, TCS, Infosys, EY. Are the best companies when I was in final year
4. System Engineer, Associate Engineer, full stack developer etc. were the roles offered.
5. 3.5lac to 10lac is average and 4.5lac is the package offered in my college.
6. 90% got internship. EY, TCS, and other small companies from infopark Kochi. We all got our certificates also which is valid document for our course completion.
Infrastructure: 1. Full facilities are available for CSE students computer labs, technicians, lab assistant and high-speed internet connectivity. We have full fledged library and modern classrooms.
2. There is no college hostel available. Only private hotels are there. It is facilitated with the needs of students.
Faculty: 1. Most of the teachers are IIT and NIT passouts. They have good knowledge in their subjects and are helpful in clearing doubt every time. Even on holidays
2. No course or syllabus in computer Science engineering makes student industry ready. But CUSAT syllabus is packed with modern technology ready materials which are helpful for leading industry knowledge.
Other: 1. CSE is a dedicated course for both computer software and hardware.
2. I wish be industry ready when I studied this syllabus.
3. Events are few in our campus. Don't expect technical events. Only sports and arts are better in our campus.

General Eligibility:
The candidates belonging from Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) need to score the minimum passing marks in the qualifying examination to be eligible for applying (except marine engineering).

I would suggest you to choose SOE at CUSAT campus, since it provides you more exposure to corporate life and beautiful campus atmosphere too. The campus placement cell is also very much active there.
