It is a house of corruption.
Placements:
The package offered here is approximately 4 Lacs including extra spending.
Top recruiting companies include NTPC bongaigaon, Oil companies, etc. 30% students got internship.
Infrastructure: The campus and infrastructure is really good. It has Wi-Fi all over the campus. A student can easily get access to it. The library is good enough for students to study. It is a quite big library. Classrooms are big and have available space in it. Hostel have lane connection for every room and the internet speed is goo ld enough. But the quality of food is awful and disgusting. One can barely eat that food.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but some of them plays attention only to the local students or bodo students. The course is not good enough to make a student industry ready. Its a total waste of money
Semester exams are very difficult here. The pass percentage is 65%.

My college life is most memorable for me.
Placements: Placement opportunities provided in CIT are increasing, and students also score good marks in the exams. The placement department of CIT provides more than 50% of placements for students. Apart from private companies, PSUs also visit the campus top recruit the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CIT is new. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Classrooms are digital. Biometric system is available. A library is available on the campus. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games courts are new. All the hostels have Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: All faculty members are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was satisfactory. They provide both theoretical and practical knowledge. They also provide industrial training and also conduct the industrial visits.

Mainly the food problem in the hostel must be taken care of. The placements and others are okay.
Placements: CIT, Kokrajhar is a premier institute in Assam. Though it is under MHRD, Government of India, its performance in terms of college placements is not that good when compared to other institutes like NIT and IIT which are governed by the same department. One of the few reasons being recently formed institute, i.e., established on 19th December 2006, and most of the recruiters visit engineering colleges because of its alumni. Another reason is that it's located in a remote place of Kokrajhar, which doesn't have good transport facilities for the inter-state recruiters to travel.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Classrooms, sports and games, and labs are available on the campus. The college provides 24 hours LAN and Wi-Fi facilities in the hostels. There is a well-developed library where books can be issued, and the library is very well facilitated.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and knowledgeable. They guide students in a proper way to succeed. There are a lot of teachers, and they generally teach diploma, B.Tech and B.Des students. The teachers are very helpful regarding any problem, and we can freely discuss any topic with them.

We are proud to be the students of CIT.
Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are average. But students of instrumentation engineering were offered good placement opportunities. Many of our seniors are currently working in companies like Amazon and refineries. We also have a good training and placement cell, and very much experienced professionals are a part of it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and hostel facilities are available. There are a total of four hostels inside the campus, and two hostels are located outside the campus. Sports facilities are also available. The college has a basketball court, volleyball court, lawn for tennis, and a football field is under construction. The college has a high-tech library, and the college has received many awards for it.
Faculty: We have very highly qualified teachers. Most of them are qualified with PhDs, and some are pursuing it. They are very experienced in this field and have wide knowledge. They clear each and every doubt of ours and give good life lessons as well. We are proud of our teachers.
Other: The college also provides scholarships to students under appropriate schemes.

We can proudly say that our college is one of the best colleges in the state. Good value for money.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many students from the previous batches are doing good jobs in many good companies like Amazon and refineries, etc. The placement cell is also very good. They not only give ideas about jobs but also provide training and internships.
Infrastructure: We have very good facilities in the college. We have basketball courts, volleyball court, park and tennis courts as well. The college provides high-speed internet connection in all the hostel rooms. We also have high-tech laboratories which enhance our skills.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college have completed their masters. Many of them are pursuing PhDs. They are very experienced and highly skilled. They have high standards of knowledge and mainly teach in English. They also give us ideas on living a good life.

Except placements, every thing is good.
Placements: No good opportunities are there for campus placement. Only 5 students got placed in campus placements. Many students got placement in off-campus. It seems the college is not willing to bring companies. If you are looking for a college in placement point of view, then this college is not a good choice.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and no doubt in that. The classrooms are well-furnished. The library is filled with the latest book, where you find many books in the latest edition, new technology was implemented in the library. Wi-Fi is also good; it gives an average speed of 6-7 MBPS.
Faculty: We had good and knowledgeable faculty. The faculty were friendly, always ready to help the student. The course curriculum is very good; it still revised within a specific period. We had an industry exposure in the final year, which was a good experience. Good things are that HOD and others faculty are approachable and listen to the issue, faced by the students.

The college is absolutely good in all aspects except for placements.
Placements: From the placement point of view, the college is not much good. There are no placements. You have to do everything on your own. The placement cell doesn't provide placements. The college is in a remote location, so I think the placements are. I think if the college would be deemed university, then it will be good in future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Everything is properly available. Labs and library are good. The library has lacs (approximately) of books, magazines, CDs and also a digital library facility. All the sports facilities are available. The quality of food is good. The classrooms are satisfactory.
Faculty: The faculty members are good enough, helpful and well qualified. They are knowledgeable and provide good notes. They are good at their jobs and are sincere. The syllabus is completed on time. It is an autonomous college, so we don't need to worry about anything. The papers are designed from whatever we study in class, so we have to pay attention to the classes. If we have doubts, then we can ask the professors in the given time.
Other: Techracy, Ectasy, etc., technical festivals are conducted, The events and fests are entertaining and enjoyable. All the festivals are celebrated here. Campus life is lovable.

Our college has some demerits, such as no student union and limited sports activities.
Placements: I do not know much about placements yet, but some students score good marks in JEE Mains. We do not get many placements on campus. I am in Instrumentation Engineering, and placements mainly come from companies like Oil India and refineries. I am still in the first year, so all subjects are currently combined.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are clean compared to other institutes, and there is no ragging. Most seniors are friendly. Wi-Fi is available, labs are well-maintained, and classrooms are clean. The library is also spacious enough for around 150 students at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and guide us properly. Most faculty members are from IITs, which is good for students. Faculty from the CSE and MCD branches are more cooperative and helpful. The first and second semester exams are a bit difficult because the subjects are mixed.
Other: I got a leftover seat because I had low marks. I was on the waiting list. I want to improve my academics and study well. There are also two main fests on our campus.

Total fees is around 1.82 lakh. The availability of seats in Guwahati University for a rank of 4000 in Assam CEE can depend on various factors such as the number of seats available in the particular branch and the number of candidates who have secured a better rank than you. However, it is important
