The college faculty members are good.
Placements: Last year 10-12 students were placed from my branch. The highest package offered was to a student who got placed in PWC Bangalore. Even students from my batch got an internship at Google Development Group. One of the students even cleared the GATE exam and last year many students got admission in various universities.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is supported with 24/7 electricity and is even equipped with solar facilities. Also, the mess food is very good as the mess is currently operated by students. The mess fee ranges between Rs. 2500-2800. The hostels are equipped with a good water supply.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. Even the head of the department is a Doctorate holder ( Dr. Amlan Jyoti Baruah) also the computer science department faculty members are very experienced as well as are from diverse fields. Teachers are from CIT as well.
Other: It is a good college.

Excellent Faculty, Excellent Placements, and Outstanding Infrastructure.
Placements: More students from the 2024 graduating class received placements. They settled in good companies, and many secured top positions. The companies have been very helpful to our college, showing a path for the students. Placements are excellent.
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities available, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and a canteen. The Wi-Fi quality is good, the labs are well-equipped, and the classrooms are clean. A smart classroom is also available. There are three smart classrooms available in our college, one for each of the three departments. The college canteen quality is average. Medical facilities are good, and sports and games are conducted fairly.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, but with consistency and dedication, nothing is impossible. We have 100-mark question papers per subject, but we only have to attempt 70 marks. We have to do 4 questions worth 15 marks each, and 1 question with multiple-choice questions is compulsory. We then have to attempt the remaining 4. To pass, we need to obtain 25 marks in the semester exam.

I am a student of Dhemaji Engineering College and pursuing a B.Tech degree in CSE.
Placements: Placements are nice, but salary packages are low. More than 50% of students get placed through campus interviews in IOCL, NRL, and ONGC. Around 50% of students get internships. I am a student of Dhemaji Engineering College pursuing a B.Tech degree in computer science and engineering
Infrastructure: Facilities are the best with proper tables, running water, and electricity. All staff members are friendly and help students to play sports and games. Other cultural activities are good. There is a good society including good people.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice with good personalities. Their teaching qualities are good. We love to listen to their lectures. Our course is of 4 years and has 8 semesters. Semester exams are more difficult than any other college. The checking system is strict. Teachers are good and knowledgeable.
Other: It is a nice college.

Our college is new, which can be much better with a breathtaking view of the mountains of Arunachal
Placements: Around 55%-60% of students got PPOs with an average salary package of 5 LPA-6 LPA in various start-up companies. The package is less because the college is new. The first batch was started in 2020, and the passing year of the current batch is 2024. Currently, our college has a deficit of equipment for civil and mechanical departments. For CSE, it is good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have benches and green boards along with labs for respective departments. There are around 30 computers for CSE department. Other facilities are available in our college such as a conference room, cafeteria, and playground. There are two boys hostels and one girls hostel with an additional building which is under construction.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and qualified from reputed colleges like NIT. Most teachers are well experienced in the corporate sectors and provide insights about the placement structure for various companies. The course curriculum is based on the syllabus provided by ASTU, as our college is under the ASTU board. Exams are conducted by the governing board.
Other: It is a new government college under the ASTU board. The year of the first pass-out batch will be 2024. Students are getting placed in various companies like Aviation Space companies and others. If the government provides more facilities then it would be good for the college environment and the students might get good placements with higher packages. Freshers party is celebrated every year. Events like tech fests are being planned from 2025.

Good college, running water , good medical facilities, and good teachers.
Placements: 1) 10 or 15 students were placed in our course.
2) 2 lakhs is the average package.
3) OIL, ONGC, Google, Internshala, Gratia Technology, NRL, Wipro, Infotech, Philips, Mindray, Samsung, and Infosys are the top recruiters.
4) 25 percent of students got internships from our course and companies are Gracia tech., Oil, and ONGC.
Infrastructure: 1) Wi-Fi, labs, computer labs, digital classrooms, digital libraries, etc. are there.
2) There are mess, good kitchen, good medicines provided, sports week , football, khokho , cricket, kabaddi , hockey, badminton, tug of war , online games , BGMi , free fire, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very good.
Yes, the curriculum is relevant, and students are made industry-ready.
Strict semester exams are held in our college.
Exams are very tough, seating plan is very good, and pass percentages are between 7 points and 9 points, average.
Other: I like this course, Computer Science and Engineering. I have a dream on web development for what I chose for this course, and I am interested in computer applications.
I wish the labs would be improved in computer science.

Dhemaji Engineering College is in Dhemaji, Tekjuri.
Placements: 60% of students were placed, with the highest package being 4 lakh per annum. Not yet 15 out of 90 students in Computer Science and Engineering are sure about campus interviews yet, but the teachers and students are very friendly, and even the principal is friendly. I love my college. Thank you.
Infrastructure: Pharmacy is not available, and transportation is also not available in our college, but Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available. However, the labs are inadequate because it gets very hot, so we need AC in our labs, along with proper tiles and cleanliness. Thank you.
Faculty: Teachers are strict, but they are good. Semester exams are quite hard, with a pass percentage of more than 25 percent. We don't have any identity cards, so please provide identity cards. We also don’t have uniforms, and hostel facilities are not available for girls. We need a hostel.
Other: I love Computer Science and Engineering, and I want to be a CEO. I belong to a poor background and don’t have much money to study. My college is a private institute, and there are no fests available.

It is a good college for students to gain good future.
Placements: Placements in Dhemaji Engineering College is below average. The main reason for that is the institution is newly established and it has not caught the attention of the bigger companies. But on the bright side, a few companies such as NHPC, INDIAN OIL has recruited a few seniors of ours. As conclusion, currently the placement cell is jot that confirmative but it has promising visions in the future.
Infrastructure: The Civil Engineering course is one of the best course (I would say the best one) one can purse there. All the required facilities such as classroom infrastructures, lab equipments, library and most importantly faculty members are there. Hostel accommodation are quite good as well but most of the hostel seats are occupied. So it would not be easy to get a seat in the hostels for new students.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and there teaching methods are quite good as well. Most of the teachers are young aged so the students and teachers have friendly relationship which helps a lot in the academics too. The courses are quite curriculum relevant although there are some subjects in our course without which it would not make any difference. It is my opinion. Others may say otherwise.
Other: I like building things that is why civil engineering attracted me the most. The thing about civil engineering it is hard and easy at the same time. There are lots of job opportunities in the filed of civil engineering private and government jobs as well
One thing that I would like to change about the course is that there should be more practical illustrations than theory papers. The college campus is situated in a remote area from Dhemaji town. So it is not that crowded which crates a perfect environment for students, not too crowded not too distant as well.

It is a new government college.
Placements: Our college has tied up with NHPC and some other government companies, so it is not difficult to get placements if students are eligible. Many students got internships in IITs and other reputed institutes.
Infrastructure: Our college is new, so many facilities are not available in our college. Our college is improving. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college, but it will be available in the future. The library is in the administrative building. It is small. There are three hostels in our college. Two hostels are for boys, and one hostel is for girls. The mess is run by the hostel boarders. The food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified. Some of them are from IITs. They are young. They have good knowledge of the subjects. The course has been made by Assam Science and Technology University. It's good but not much modern. Students may learn some new things from their side. The difficulty level of exams is above average. If students study a little bit regularly, then they won't find much difficulty to pass. The pass percentage is around 40-50%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in computers, and the upcoming future is all about computers and AI, so CSE will be a good course to pursue. Our college should provide more importance on practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. Our college conducts events. We enjoy fresher parties and celebrations of some local festivals. Various kinds of sports are organised during the college week.
