Centre for Distance Education, Prist University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.E. / B.Tech Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

Not much satisfied. But satisfied with that college.

Placements: College is very good college. One of the best college in thanjavur. Placements is very good. Communication skills is very good. There will be placement training is available in prist college. Among 80 students 50 percent students will be placed every year.

Infrastructure: While coming to infrastructure topic. The college is having a very good building named according to engineering departments the strength in the college is also very good having Wi-Fi facilities both in the classrooms and in the hostels. The college is well-equipped with full lab infrastructure.

Faculty: All faculty teaching in the prist university are Ph.D. doctorate staffs. They teach very clearly with a passionable teaching. But there is no video classes in the classroom the student to faculty ratio is very good. Every year they give OD for industrial visits.

Other: Every year they will conduct freshers party all the events.
