College is good for academics.
Placements: Around 80% of the students are placed in reputed companies within the first two phase of the campus interview. In the last academic year, students were hire from companies like Deloitte and Goldman Sachs with a salary package of upto 17 LPA. The internship opportunities are also really good. There is a wing called Christ Consulting that managers and offers internship roles to students from companies like TCS, Samsung, Deloitte etc.
Infrastructure: The wi-fi connection in the Yeshwanthpur campus is a little slow and can be improved. There is better connectivity in some rooms than the other. But the network connection in the library needs to be improved. Hostel facilities are okay, but the mess food is not very suitable for the diverse group of students who have come from different states of India. When it comes to sports, there are a lot of opportunities in football, volleyball ans badminton. There are also equipments to play carrom, chess, table tennis etc. For entertainment or time pass. The medical facilities are really good. There are 4-5 beds, 2 wheel chair, a stretches, and an in-house doctor to treat the students immediately. Tables are also given to students in case they require without charging money.
Faculty: In general the faculty is good. All professors are Ph.D. holders and have a good understanding of that particular subject. But some teachers are inexperienced and need some sort of training to deal with students and teach efficiently. The course structure is really interesting with a wide array of subjects and electives. Exams are very strict, which is a good thing.
Other: Christ University is a really good option when it comes to academics. The exposure and oppurtunites provided are extremely useful. But students have to be willing to forget everything else for 4 years and focus only on studies because there are a lot of assignments, CIA'S, tests etc. Maintaining a good social life becomes difficult so the student should be able to manage stress and pressure.

It's more about following the rules than learning.
Placements: Since we are only the second batch of this course, there isn't much information about placements. However, we have been getting internship offers from companies such as Deloitte and Goldman Sachs that also provide offer letters if the internship is successfully completed.
Infrastructure: There is a network in all the academic blocks. So you can't use your internet here. You can only connect your laptops to the campus wifi and most of the sites are blocked from that, so it mostly doesn't work. The classrooms are good and spacious with sufficient lighting. The library has a good collection of academic books but because it's on the ground floor, it isn't very quiet. I reside off-campus but from what I have heard, the hostel is very strict. They have very early curfews and dress codes and no food is allowed inside the rooms.
Faculty: While teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, they don't know how to teach. They are more concerned about whether the students are following dress codes or if they come to the class on time. They mostly just read from the slides and get the syllabus done before the exam time. The grades follow a capping system so no one gets more than an average grade.
Other: I chose this course because I felt like more opportunities would be open for me in the future. I just wish the teachers would focus more on the actual learning and well-being of the students. Apart from that, it is a very happening campus, so you'll always find something fun taking place after college hours.

Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus - Is it worth it?
Placements: The psychology and economics batch hasn't been placed. I'm a second-year student. Our seniors are the first batch to graduate on the campus, which might explain why placements are not good. We do not have course-specific placements, and it would be better if our course had better placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. It is still under construction for a few things. Our classrooms are good. Benches could be better because the distance between the table and the seat is huge, so you cannot sit comfortably and write. Students do not get a Wi-Fi connection anywhere. If you use the college Wi-Fi, a lot of important sites are blocked, such as RBI, Google Scholar, etc.
Faculty: The economics course faculty members are very approachable and knowledgeable. They have an interest in interacting with the class and delivering interactively. The psychology course faculty members are not very friendly and approachable. They are one of my least favourite faculty members. Some teachers are knowledgeable, but not very approachable.
