The college has good infrastructure and pretty good placements.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified with all Ph.D. holders. They are good at teaching. The course curriculum is up to date and very adaptable in nature as it is changed very frequently as per the industry requirements. Semester exams are moderately difficult however it is spread across the semester with continuous internal assessment. I would say the pass percentage is high as most of my friends have passed.

Review of Christ - Yeshwanthpur Campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and the curriculum is good. There are in total 2 written examinations that happen in a semester ( 1 midsem and 1 endsem ) and 2 internal assessments which are known as CIA Continuous Internal Assessment ). The exams are not very difficult if you prepare well and there is very strict surveillance during exams.

Not worth the hustle for a degree.

Faculty: The lecturers are pretty much clueless and take the help of PPTs. They are very much restricted as they don't have the freedom to take control. There is always a higher authority. The course is worth it, but the exams can be a hustle and stressful.

Christ has a stressful curriculum, but it's fun and chill at the same time.

Faculty: Christ's environment is really stressful as we have a continuous internal assessment system. There is no free time for students to rest. We have 3 CIAs, with the second CIA being the mid-semester exam. So, if you are looking for a college that is very joyful, please don't choose this one. But if you’re looking for a college that can build your overall personality, then go for Christ.

It's more about following the rules than learning.

Faculty: While teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, they don't know how to teach. They are more concerned about whether the students are following dress codes or if they come to the class on time. They mostly just read from the slides and get the syllabus done before the exam time. The grades follow a capping system so no one gets more than an average grade.

It provides better placements and opportunities.

Faculty: 70% is the passing percentage in semester exams every year. They are intermediate-level according to students' IQ level. Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They all are PhD holders and specialised in other courses too. Their teaching is pretty good.

Good for corporate experience as everything you do inside is in a systematic way.

Faculty: The guidelines are really strict. Teachers are very professional. Faculty members are supportive but still strict with the curriculum. The minimum percentage to pass the semester is 40, but you need to get minimum 50 so they consider you as pass. Faculty members will be boarding you with CIAs and assignments.

85% attendance or 100% regret.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and their teaching methods are pretty good, except for a few. However, I won't agree 100%. The curriculum alone makes students industry-ready. It's not just education that makes us industry-ready but also taught industrial concepts and how to tackle situations. The mid-sem exams are easy, but you work hard for the end-sem exams. If you fail any paper in the end-sem, you pay Rs.700 for each paper and reattempt the exam.

Review of Christ University.

Faculty: All the faculty members are qualified professionals holding Ph.D. degrees. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult because it is the top college in India for BCA. The passing percentage is 40%.

College life is hectic due to CIAS. Infrastructure is good, and we have all the major facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are mostly friendly, but it totally depends on how you are with them. Christ has one of the most interesting curriculums. Overall, they focus more on the holistic development of a person. When it comes to exams, we have CIAS that happen back to back with a time gap of at least 2-3 weeks. I chose BBA in finance and marketing analytics, and this course is offered by Christ BYC only.

M.Sc. Clinical Psychology at Christ Yeshwantpur.

Faculty: The faculty is very experienced and educated; they are very knowledgeable. This course has two rounds of internals and one final end term. So, there is very little time between all these, making it very hectic. However, the course is extremely wide, comprehensive, and relevant to the field, including both research and practical teaching. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and mostly application-based.

I am satisfied, but faculty can be improved a lot. Everything else is up to the mark.

Faculty: Some teachers for first-year students are not up to the mark of university-level teaching, but some of them are good. Course and curriculum match the skills required for a manager. Various events are held almost every other week, providing students with exposure, but we need to be active in them.

Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus - Is it worth it?

Faculty: The economics course faculty members are very approachable and knowledgeable. They have an interest in interacting with the class and delivering interactively. The psychology course faculty members are not very friendly and approachable. They are one of my least favourite faculty members. Some teachers are knowledgeable, but not very approachable.
