BA (Hons) in Communication and Media, Psychology - Batch of 2026

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in my previous batch. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. The average comes out to be 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are FWB, MyGate, and Zomato. At least 40% get internships in reputed companies. Top roles include Brand Manager, Graphic Designer, Employee Engagement, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty cool, with huge classrooms, a well-equipped library, and a fully equipped media lab for different settings (podcast recording, panel recording, solo, etc.). There is a room for the ultimate VR experience and learning. The hostel is well-maintained and spacious. The cafeteria has a good number of options in both veg and non-veg categories and is liked by almost everyone. The college provides full-time medical help along with a fully-fledged counselling centre open to all. We have a lot of sports options, such as volleyball, cricket, basketball, a huge football turf, along with a large indoor games arena in the basement.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and attend to any problems at any point of the day. Their teaching techniques help us in different ways. They are always open to feedback and suggestions throughout, which makes it a two-way communication and improves quality. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented, with several workshops and seminars held throughout the year. Semester exams are a little difficult, but that only makes one better by testing their critical thinking.
Other: I chose this course because of its duality and the fact that I get the best out of both subjects. The best thing about this course is faculty. This course has its club, which is again divided into other clubs and provides a great number of opportunities, along with events happening almost any time you are on campus.

The college has good infrastructure and pretty good placements.
Placements: I am currently studying B.Com finance and investment and the placement rate is about 80%. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, EY, Stanley, and many other prominent companies visiting our college. Top roles include analyst, operations, etc. The average package that a student gets from my course is around 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is excellent and commendable on the quality of campus life as the hostel is really good but has a limited occupancy rate. The mess food and canteen food are up to the mark. Medical facilities are available at any point in time polls and games are encouraged. They are given equal importance at our campus there are numerous events. College fests happen frequently Wi-Fi is also available at a good speed.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified with all Ph.D. holders. They are good at teaching. The course curriculum is up to date and very adaptable in nature as it is changed very frequently as per the industry requirements. Semester exams are moderately difficult however it is spread across the semester with continuous internal assessment. I would say the pass percentage is high as most of my friends have passed.
Other: I choose this course as it major in finance and investment which is a helpful major for the current industry trend. The best thing about this course is it makes me industry-ready as the curriculum is directly aligned with industry requirements. There are numerous clubs, events, and fests happening throughout the year that are inter-campus events, and inter-college events, which boost the overall holistic development of the student there are networking events where the campus is very friendly calm, and welcoming.

Not worth the hustle for a degree.
Placements: Around 87% of the students get the placements. There are students who secure more CGPA scores therefore companies that offer great LPA packages. Very few students with good portfolios get through the interviews with good packages and hard work matters.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi jammers, classrooms are clean, and library is pretty much spacious. The food can be disgusting as it has no taste, sports but medical facilities are very generous. Hostels and washrooms are clean. It has been 4 years since it's built.
Faculty: The lecturers are pretty much clueless and take the help of PPTs. They are very much restricted as they don't have the freedom to take control. There is always a higher authority. The course is worth it, but the exams can be a hustle and stressful.
Other: This course could help me perfect my basic for commerce right. Better lectures could help a lot. The fests, events, and campus crowd are average compared to the other campuses. Other activities can be approached if studies can be balanced.

Review of Christ - Yeshwanthpur Campus.
Placements: The placements in the Yeshwantpur Campus for this batch were pretty good with the top companies coming for hiring like DeShaw, EY, Deloitte, PWC, BCG, Godrej, ICICI Bank, etc. The placement ratio is above average and there were various roles offered related to various domains like HR, finance, marketing, and analytics.
Infrastructure: The college is very well-equipped with infrastructure and has good faculty members. Wi-Fi is provided on laptops for academic purposes only and there is a library as well as reading halls for the students. The campus has hostel facilities for 1st and 2nd year students but there is no mess facility provided. The college has turf, basketball and volleyball grounds, and some indoor games as well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and the curriculum is good. There are in total 2 written examinations that happen in a semester ( 1 midsem and 1 endsem ) and 2 internal assessments which are known as CIA Continuous Internal Assessment ). The exams are not very difficult if you prepare well and there is very strict surveillance during exams.
Other: The college has various clubs of different departments and the campus life is amazing. Fests and events happen frequently intercampus as well as intercampus. The college plays a little more focus on the academic part I feel tough. There is a dress code that is to be followed very strictly and also the students have to maintain an overall 85% attendance to write the end-semester examination.

Christ has a stressful curriculum, but it's fun and chill at the same time.
Placements: Placements at Christ University are well-organized and well-structured. Placements take place at the Christ University Central campus, so you don't need to worry about not getting equal placement compared to the Central campus. The top companies come to recruit students as promised.
Infrastructure: Christ University Yeshwanthpur campus has the best infrastructure compared to all other campuses of Christ. It has modern buildings, well-equipped classrooms, clean washrooms, etc. I even stay at the hostel, which is strict. The infrastructure and services are good, except for the biometric systems, which are too strict.
Faculty: Christ's environment is really stressful as we have a continuous internal assessment system. There is no free time for students to rest. We have 3 CIAs, with the second CIA being the mid-semester exam. So, if you are looking for a college that is very joyful, please don't choose this one. But if you’re looking for a college that can build your overall personality, then go for Christ.
Other: Join clubs and enjoy your life. The Under25 event is such a blast this year.

It's more about following the rules than learning.
Placements: Since we are only the second batch of this course, there isn't much information about placements. However, we have been getting internship offers from companies such as Deloitte and Goldman Sachs that also provide offer letters if the internship is successfully completed.
Infrastructure: There is a network in all the academic blocks. So you can't use your internet here. You can only connect your laptops to the campus wifi and most of the sites are blocked from that, so it mostly doesn't work. The classrooms are good and spacious with sufficient lighting. The library has a good collection of academic books but because it's on the ground floor, it isn't very quiet. I reside off-campus but from what I have heard, the hostel is very strict. They have very early curfews and dress codes and no food is allowed inside the rooms.
Faculty: While teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, they don't know how to teach. They are more concerned about whether the students are following dress codes or if they come to the class on time. They mostly just read from the slides and get the syllabus done before the exam time. The grades follow a capping system so no one gets more than an average grade.
Other: I chose this course because I felt like more opportunities would be open for me in the future. I just wish the teachers would focus more on the actual learning and well-being of the students. Apart from that, it is a very happening campus, so you'll always find something fun taking place after college hours.
