Review of Christian Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana.

Placements: Our college students get placed in all leading corporate hospitals in India. Students in our course who scored 80% and above in their academics got placed. The highest package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship in top hospitals like AIIMS, Apollo, JIPMER, CMC, etc. Students get the roles like nurses to record medical history and symptoms of the patients, advocate for the health of a patient, perform a diagnostic test, learn health-related things and operate medical equipment.

Infrastructure: Our college is one of the largest tertiary hospitals in India. Have institutional auditorium, spacious library that could accommodate more than 60 students at a time. Our college provides labs, projects, demonstration rooms, open grounds and lush green lawns to play games. The college has gardens with ornamental and seasonal flowers. Our college has 3 storied hostel facility partially furnished with double rooms and recreational facilities. Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility to enjoy and for study purpose.

Faculty: Our college is affiliated to Baba Farid University in Punjab. Most of the professors are alumni of this college. They are extremely qualified and passionate about their profession. There is stated art technology and teaching facilities, and it helps students stand out both nationally and internationally. They are personally clarifying doubts during tutorials and discussions along with regular tests.

Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to do something challenging and interesting that would make a difference in people's life. There is a need for improvement in the areas of communication, time management, critical thinking and cultural awareness.

Absolutely satisfied with the clinical exposure and education quality provided.

Placements: A total of 60 students were placed. Packages offered were good. Internships are included in the course. I had a good experience after completion of my course. I got a job in a bone marrow transplantation unit as soon as I completed my course. Roles offered after this course are a nursing officer, etc., which again helped us in improving the health care system by providing quality care to the patients.

Infrastructure: The hostel was okay. The quality of food was good. Medical facilities were available readily. Sports and games facilities are provided. The hostel needs an upgrade in terms of rooms and washrooms. The mess was well maintained, and the canteen was available very close to the hostel.

Faculty: The teachers were knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was good. The course was relevant. It made us very efficient in our line of work. The curriculum was absolutely relevant as it helped us in gaining knowledge. Teachers were very experienced and helped us in every way possible. Assignments and group projects were very well supervised by the faculty.

Other: I guess the labs need to be updated. Many events should be organised for students.
