Review of CMS College of Science and Commerce.

Placements: I am a BCA student at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore. The placement statistics for our course are impressive, with 90% of students placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA, the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, KPMG, and Deloitte. About 80% of students secured internships, with companies like Sutherland, Syngene, and Zifo being the top recruiters for internships.

Infrastructure: I stayed in the college hostel. Each semester, which lasts for 6 months, costs Rs. 36,000. Facilities provided included a 4-sharing room with two fans and one cupboard for each member. We were not allowed to use an iron box, heaters, or kettles. The food was generally good, but sometimes it was not.

Faculty: In my department, all staff members were really nice and very good. For any problem related to college or studies, they were the go-to persons. They treated us just like their children and helped us in every way. I like all teachers in my department as well as in other departments. However, there is one sir named Manoj, whom no one liked in the college. He had a bit of a superiority complex and always scolded students unnecessarily. Each semester includes one internal exam, one model exam, and the main exam. The exam pattern was good: 10 one-mark questions, 5 three-mark questions, and 5 five-mark questions. Some teachers are very liberal, but others are very strict.

Other: My college conducts very few programs, so college life was a little boring without them. There are programs, but they are not that good. We have Onam celebrations in august or september, Ethnic day in april, College day in april or may, Sports day in march, and Pongal celebrations in january. The library is very big, and we can get all types of books that provide the information we need. There are no extracurricular activities like singing or dancing, but we have sports like kabaddi, athletics, kho-kho, etc.

It is an average college.

Placements: Our college has one of the best placement records. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA-5 LPA. There was an internship for students at FIFA Qatar this year. Students from all departments were allowed to go to Qatar with the support of the Qatar government.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The food is not so good and mostly they serve idly and dosa. There are no varieties of food items. The computer lab is good. There are two labs. One of the labs has a new system and infrastructure. The other one is a little old and not so good.

Faculty: Faculty members are not very helpful. They do not have too much knowledge about the subject and classes are not regular. It is very hard to understand the subject and textbooks are not available for students. You only get it in PDF format. We need to study by ourselves to pass the exam.

Overall, it is a good college to make friends and enjoy your campus life.

Placements: Many top companies, like Infosys and Wipro, come to the college. Many people get placed in these companies on the basis of their technical and soft skills. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The hostel is located near the campus itself, nearly 200–300 m from the college building. There are two hostels, one for first-year students and one for second and third-year students.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very good. There are no new faculty members who understand technology better than the previous generation. Most of them have more than 15 years of experience. There are two internal exams conducted before the semester exam. The course is not well structured. Although there are classes going on, they are not structured like regular classes and activities.

Other: It is the most crowded department in the entire college. It is a good college to enjoy your campus life and spend time with friends. People from different places, like Nepal, Nigeria, and the north Indian states of India, come to this college.

Satisfied because of placement and good marks.

Placements: Our college has a very good placement. Lots of it and non it companies recruit students. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra. Etc. It has a Department for placement and well-trained placement officer. Many of our students placed in campus selection.

Infrastructure: The college is an eco-friendly campus, with a biodiversity garden. College is Wi-Fi provided campus. And medical aid room for first aid. Library full access for books. Lots of books are there for reference. The Science lab is fully provided with equipments for students.

Faculty: The college is certified as A grade in NAAC. No 1 college in Coimbatore certified. Well trained faculty members in teaching. The course is a professional course. But less gain in knowledge. Nil arrear students are placed in campus interview. The college has potential in grade.

Really good faculty and facilities a nice place to study and shine in life.

Placements: Not yet placed but there are many reputed companies that offer jobs with good salary packages. Pleased to study in a institution like this. Almost every student of CMS get their internships easily. The faculty are very efficient and provide better educational knowledge to their students.

Infrastructure: Wi-fi, library, language library, neatly maintained classrooms, efficient faculty, affordable fee structure, eco-friendly campus, cleanliness is maintained thorough out the premises and campus and hostel which helps in better environment and health and homely hostels.

Faculty: Faculty and each and every person associated are very knowledgeable and worth the satisfaction to us. They strive in providing better knowledge to the students in the best way possible and make them feel stress-free which leads to effective learning.

Other: Very good atmosphere around the premises. Scholarships are offered to needed students effectively. Fests and events take place occasionally.
