There is no such provision to get admission to MTech at the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) without having a valid rank/ score in GATE. COEP Technological University (formerly known as COEP) admissions to all courses are strictly based on merit only. Hence, those candidates who do not have a valid score or rank in GATE or MHT-MTech are not eligible for admission to MTech courses of the College of Engineering Pune (COEP).
For candidates willing to take admission in the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) they have to follow these steps which are given below: -
- Interested candidates have to take the GATE (Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam which is conducted by any one of IITs. GATE is a computer-based examination (CBT) whose duration is 3 hours.
- After this, the candidates will get their ranks based on their scores/marks in their GATE exams.
- Finally, the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) released its merit list and if the candidate rank is within the range specified by the college, the candidate becomes eligible for further process of admission at COEP.
