My college life. We enjoy a lot in our college.
Placements: I am just studying in my first year but, I have heard from our seniors that the placements are above average in our college and the placement cell is also very supportive. Many experienced students have told us about the placement that we get the best placement. Approximately 75% of students got placed in our college every year.
Infrastructure: There are different buildings for each department and every building has very nice and aesthetic infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in each building. In the library, there are many books available. Hostel campus is a little far from the college campus. There are two hostels, one for girls and the other for boys. Facilities in our hostel are also best and the rooms are cleaned once a week. Medical, gym, laundry, etc., are available in our hostel for free.
Faculty: Faculty members of each subject are very experienced and supportive. They are well-qualified. They teach very fluently and everybody understands their teaching. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready as faculty members teach every topic properly.
Other: I chose this course because mechanical engineering is the core branch. And slowly it is also moving towards the technical era. There are many famous events and fests in our college which students enjoy a lot by participating in.

Very nice placements, and college events are fantastic.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students secure placements, with the highest package reaching 44 LPA and the lowest at 3.5 LPA for my course (mechanical). Prominent companies like Tata and Mahindra are among the top recruiters. The internship rate is around 40 to 50%, and some students even receive offers for top roles like CEO.
Infrastructure: The college is aesthetically pleasing, with a beautiful campus spread across 16 acres, including a dedicated 12-acre area for hostels and an 8-acre ground. Modern facilities, free Wi-Fi, and unlimited data usage are provided.
Faculty: The teachers are highly supportive, well-qualified, and possess excellent teaching qualities. While some may not perform as well, the overall teaching standard is excellent. Semester exams are not overly difficult, as 50% of the questions are based on the taught material.

One of the best engineering college in Maharashtra.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, 78% of students were placed in students who were seated for students 2023-24 batch which is less than 2022-23. The highest package offered in mechanical engineering was 26.65 LPA by DMW Corporation and the average package was 8.26 Lacs per annum in the year 2023-24.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful and in the college campus, and hostel campus everywhere greenery is there but the hostel buildings are very old and in one small room, there are 4 students. The food of the hostel is the best along with the canteen food which is reasonably priced.
Faculty: There are very well-experienced faculty members. They are perfect in their domain. Some faculty members have been teaching in this college for the last 20-25 years. Also from 2023 batch, COEP has started following the national education policy which was proposed in 2020. Semester exams are not very difficult some questions in exams are directly from assignments and tutorials.
Other: There are 4 main fests are in College: Technical fest - Mindspark Cultural fest-impression Startup and innovation fest - PSF Pune startup fest Sports event - Zest.

I am not satisfied with placements.
Placements: Our college is not good in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Students can use Wi-Fi. If we show our ID cards to the data center, they provide access to Wi-Fi. LAN cables are available in hostels. Classrooms are average. The library is the best. Hostels provide good food compared to other hostels.
Faculty: Our professors help students participate in club-related activities and research-related activities. Faculty members provide research development projects. The teaching quality is not good. Our college does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The unit tests are easy.
Other: I wanted to learn about mechanical engineering, so I chose this course. The course is good. The campus conducts very good fests and activities. Our college has 60 clubs.

Our college has value for money.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, IBM, etc. The average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Many students got good placements in top companies with decent salary packages.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Our campus is huge. The library is spacious. Several books are available in the library. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have a teach-next board in every classroom. Canteen is very good. Medical room is available. Sports are average in this college.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The passing marks are 32 out of 38. You need to score 40 marks for better placements. Teachers complete the course quite early so that students get enough time to revise. It is manageable to qualify for exams.
Other: I opted for this course to become a mechanical engineer.
