Excellent academics and campus life, a great institute with a strong reputation.
Placements: CoEP has a strong placement record with a high percentage of students placed every year. Many reputed core and IT companies visit the campus. The average package is good, with some students receiving high packages. Common roles include Software Engineers, Analysts, and core engineering positions.
Infrastructure: For my branch, its a one of the oldest and core branches of the college and has old and new labs. They also have some new subjects for the core. Hostel have all facilities like a mess and laundry. In the hostel area, there is a cafe. The hostel is near the college. The infrastructure for the course and hostel (CoEP) has excellent infrastructure with the best labs. Recently new computer department building has been opened in CoEP.
Faculty: CoEP faculty are experienced and supportive. Curriculum is relevant and well-structured. Exams are moderately difficult and concept-based. The pass percentile is depends on overall students. First of all, they take the average marks of all, the lowest, and the highest, and then they take the passing marks.
Other: CoEP has a strong academic reputation, good placement, an active student club, and a competitive learning environment with great peer exposure.

My experience in college.
Placements: It is a 4 year course and has excellent faculty and placement companies. It is the top college in Pune average package of 10LPA for mechanical engineering. It is highly recommended that in order to get a good job it has various courses available.
Infrastructure: It has good facilities it has some decent food quality issues but the rest is all good. The locality of the hostel is in a good area of the city with great infrastructure. I am a local so I do not know much about this but all I have heard is good.
Faculty: The new CBCS system has made it really easy for the student to choose subjects according to their will. Now students from any branch can select their desired course apart from the compulsory subjects. The exam environment is also very well distributed and cool.

My college life. We enjoy a lot in our college.
Placements: I am just studying in my first year but, I have heard from our seniors that the placements are above average in our college and the placement cell is also very supportive. Many experienced students have told us about the placement that we get the best placement. Approximately 75% of students got placed in our college every year.
Infrastructure: There are different buildings for each department and every building has very nice and aesthetic infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in each building. In the library, there are many books available. Hostel campus is a little far from the college campus. There are two hostels, one for girls and the other for boys. Facilities in our hostel are also best and the rooms are cleaned once a week. Medical, gym, laundry, etc., are available in our hostel for free.
Faculty: Faculty members of each subject are very experienced and supportive. They are well-qualified. They teach very fluently and everybody understands their teaching. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready as faculty members teach every topic properly.
Other: I chose this course because mechanical engineering is the core branch. And slowly it is also moving towards the technical era. There are many famous events and fests in our college which students enjoy a lot by participating in.

One of the best engineering college in Maharashtra.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, 78% of students were placed in students who were seated for students 2023-24 batch which is less than 2022-23. The highest package offered in mechanical engineering was 26.65 LPA by DMW Corporation and the average package was 8.26 Lacs per annum in the year 2023-24.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful and in the college campus, and hostel campus everywhere greenery is there but the hostel buildings are very old and in one small room, there are 4 students. The food of the hostel is the best along with the canteen food which is reasonably priced.
Faculty: There are very well-experienced faculty members. They are perfect in their domain. Some faculty members have been teaching in this college for the last 20-25 years. Also from 2023 batch, COEP has started following the national education policy which was proposed in 2020. Semester exams are not very difficult some questions in exams are directly from assignments and tutorials.
Other: There are 4 main fests are in College: Technical fest - Mindspark Cultural fest-impression Startup and innovation fest - PSF Pune startup fest Sports event - Zest.

I am not satisfied with placements.
Placements: Our college is not good in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Students can use Wi-Fi. If we show our ID cards to the data center, they provide access to Wi-Fi. LAN cables are available in hostels. Classrooms are average. The library is the best. Hostels provide good food compared to other hostels.
Faculty: Our professors help students participate in club-related activities and research-related activities. Faculty members provide research development projects. The teaching quality is not good. Our college does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The unit tests are easy.
Other: I wanted to learn about mechanical engineering, so I chose this course. The course is good. The campus conducts very good fests and activities. Our college has 60 clubs.

Hello Shivam, I must say that you have indeed obtained very good marks in your diploma in mechanical engineering. I feel that with this percentage and with your category you should get your desired branch in desired college by way of a lateral admission directly into the second year of engineering.
