CIT admission is completely entrance/counselling-based and is conducted by DOTE Chennai. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses across 13 departments such as Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics, among others. The institute also offers an Integrated MSc of five years ' duration. Candidates can apply for admission to the course of their choice via online mode. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, or equivalent with a minimum of 45% aggregate. Single Window Admissions System is used in Anna University for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission).
