CEETA PG 2025 Admissions: Counselling Dates (OUT), Check eligibility, process, documents required here

CEETA PG is a state-level entrance test conducted by Anna University to offer admission to postgraduate programs. Based on CEETA PG scores and the counselling process, candidates are allotted seats for M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan programmes at the following universities -

• Anna Univesity Regional Campuses and University Colleges Engineering
• Annamalai University
• Government Engineering Colleges through Centralised Single Window Online-Counselling

In addition, government-funded engineering colleges and technical institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated with Anna University can participate in the CEETA PG 2025 admissions. A few self-financing engineering colleges also use CEETA PG scores for admission.

The CEETA PG counselling is conducted through CEAP (Common Engineering Admission Procedure) for MTech/MArch/MPlan/ ME degrees. The counselling will be conducted to offer admissions in the following -

• University Departments/Regional Campuses/Constituent Colleges of Anna University
• Annamalai University
• Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges
• Technical institutions are funded by the government and are affiliated with Anna University

Candidates who have qualified for the CEETA PG 2025 exam will be eligible to participate in the CEETA PG counselling process. 

CEETA PG 2025 result link and rank list is now available on the official website. The scorecard of CEETA PG is now available on the website from May 7 to June 6. Candidates should download the Score Card from the website after the decaration results. The Score Card must be presented during admission. If lost, a duplicate can be obtained by paying 300/—as a Demand Draft and submitting a written request to The Secretary (TANCET/CEETA-PG), Anna University, Chennai—600 025.     

Anna University had released the provisional answer key on April 4. The CEETA PG 2025 final answer key was released on April 17. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the answer key to evaluate their scores and performance. To access the CEETA PG 2025 answer key, candidates must provide their email address and password. The steps to check the CEETA answer key PDF is as follows -

• Visit the official website of CEETA - tancet.annauniv.edu
• Click on the tentative answer key and enter credentials - email address and password 
• Check the details and download the answer key
• Calculate the probable scores to check your performance. 

Anna University mentions the CEETA PG 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates applying for the CEETA PG 2025 admissions, must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below. The CEETA PG eligibility for ME/MTech/MPlan/MArch admissions is below.    

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum score of 50% (General category) or 45% (reserved categories)   
• Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts   
• BPharm   
• 10 + 2 + AMIE (with 2 years experience)   
• 10 + 3-year diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience)   
• Candidates in their final year/semester of the degree courses during their academic year, except for courses offered by a Professional Institution like AMIE, can apply for CEETA PG 2025.   
• GATE candidates who want admission under CEET PG must appear for CEETA PG to be considered for admission.   
• Candidates with a valid GATE score in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with qualifying marks for assistantship in XE (Engineering Science) or XL (Life Science) papers are eligible to appear for CEETA PG 2025.   
• Candidates from other states may also be eligible to appear for the entrance test, subject to the conditions set by the admitting authority/university.   

The CEETA PG 2025 application form was released on January 24, 2025. The last date to submit the CEETA PG application form was February 28, 2025. The registration process is over. The CEETA PG 2025 form correction facility was available till March 3, 2025. Candidates can make their changes by logging into the candidate's portal. The form was online and had to be submitted before the due date. Details entered on the application form had to be carefully checked before submission. Care should be taken with the information provided. Incorrect information may result in rejection and disciplinary action. Only online applications will be considered, and applications received through other means will be rejected. Ineligibility determined during verification of original certificates can result in loss of admission or continuation of study.  

The CEETA PG 2025 application form fees for the candidates are as follows -

• For SC/ST/SCA of Tamil Nadu - INR 900 + GST on counselling fee of INR 400/-
• For other applicants - INR 1800 +  GST on the counselling fee of INR 800/-
