Definitely CIT is a good college. I love my experience in CIT.

Placements: After the fourth Semester, a student is eligible for placements. Many companies visit like ONGC, Saint Gobains, Asian paints, Tamilnadu Petroleum Limited, etc. The college has an 80 to 90% of placement. The company offers a range from 3 to 10 LPA. After getting a degree I have a plan to placed in an Asian paints company.

Infrastructure: There are hostels with single rooms means each student gets a single room no shared room. The diet plan is made by students of the hostel. Food I quite good and monthly mess feels to 2400-3000. Security guards are always at the main GATE 2 or Security guard roam In the hostel campus. Open 24 hours for boys as the library is open 24 hours. But for girls hostel close at 8:00 PM don't know why. Hostel Fee : INR 14000 per year.

Faculty: The faculty members here are highly qualified. They are also extremely friendly, and supportive and are always open to answering doubts. Due to the current Covid situation classes are held online which usually starts at 9:00 A. M. and ends at 5:00 P. M. with break between each hour. Semester exams are held once in every five months with 2 mid-semester exams in the middle. Internal marks are calculated on the basis of assignment submission and mid-semester examination scores. Absolute grading is the exam pattern followed here. Class size is 55 and fees is INR 134000 per year.

The hostel warden is so kind.

Placements: The College has a good record of placement in the field of engineering. In all different departments, 3750 students got placements in 240 multi-national companies in the year 2019-2020. More than 650 plus selection was made by more than 100 companies and the salary was offered to these students with the minimum package of Rs. 5LPA. More than 100 recruitments were done by more than 25 companies offering a minimum package of Rs.10 LPA. 50 top MNCs gave offer letters to more than 500 students.

Infrastructure: The hostel has almost all the facilities like reading areas, playing ground, kitchen, and mess, etc. The food was really good and they include veg and non-veg food according. Hostel admission based on the allotment process depends on distance from home and the entrance exam rank. The hostel fee is affordable, it is around 2500 rupees for a month. The University hostel is located inside the campus.

Faculty: In the department of civil engineering, all the faculty are well-experienced and highly qualified. Coimbatore Institute is the best education institute where students can acquire a lot of knowledge and improve their skills from highly qualified facilities that not only give better education but also guide students from time to time for their bright future. New methods of teaching like projectors are used by the teachers. Plagiarism software is used to check the assignments and research work. Class size is 50 and course fees is INR 98000 per year.
