Good medical college except GH is far away from college.
Placements: CMC placements are strong. 85-90% of students got placed. Salaries range for junior doctors 6 LPA - 8 LPA, specialists 18 LPA - 25 LPA, nurses/paramedics 3 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Apollo, Fortis, and Government hospital. 100% of students got MBBS internships at CMC Hospital. Other courses 90-95% internships at top local hospital. Roles offered are doctor, nurse, and lab tech.
Infrastructure: Our college buildings are old but have good maintenance. There is no Wi-Fi and library is available. Food quality is good. Playground and shuttle court are available. There is no current cut, and water supply is good. Rooms are very neat and everyone has separate rooms. Food is awesome. Old buildings are the only problem.
Faculty: All the professors are very good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. New CBME based curriculum is very helpful and easy. Usually, the exams are difficult and getting pass itself is very hard.
Other: Everything is good. Cultural and sports meets are held often.

Our Coimbatore Medical College.
Placements: As this is a medical college, there are no placements in our college. After completing their final year, students will do an internship for 1 year. If we want to pursue a PG course, we have to write a NEET PG entrance exam. During the internship period, we are provided with a stipend.
Infrastructure: There are separate classrooms for each batch and subject respectively with projectors. There are even labs and museums present. There is a common library present in our college where students can make use of it whenever needed. Separate hostels are present for boys and girls. There are grounds for playing.
Faculty: Professors are very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and approachable. We can easily reach out whenever we have any doubts. We have clinical classes in the morning session where we can see patients and take cases. In the afternoon session, we will have theory classes in our college.
Other: The only drawback of our college is that the distance between the college and the hospital is long.

Placements: There are 200 students currently studying in each batch. As this is a medical college, there are no placements. After completing the final year, we have 1 year of internship. If we want to pursue a PG course, we have to write a NEET PG entrance exam. During the internship period, there will be a stipend given.
Infrastructure: There are separate classrooms for each batch and subject respectively with projectors. There are even labs and museums present. There is a common library in our college where students can make use of it whenever needed. We have separate hostels for boys and girls. We have grounds for playing.
Faculty: Professors are very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, approachable, and reachable. We can easily reach out whenever we have any doubts. We have clinical classes in the morning session where we can see patients take cases. In the afternoon session, we will have daily classes in our college.
Other: Even the college is a knowledge bank. There are no sufficient transport facilities from the college to the hospital.

The prestigious institute - CMC.
Placements: 150 students are placed from my batch. Internships are available to everyone passing the final year. The duration of internship is one year. Internships should be done in respected medical colleges. Internship gives experience in more clinical practice and knowledge.
Infrastructure: A new academic block has been constructed and laboratory is well-equipped with recent equipment. Hostel is also good and the menu is all good giving a feel of home food. There is a big playground available. All games things like basketball net, and cricket net are available. Indoor games are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-versed in subject and have more clinical knowledge and experience. All are available to everyone at any time. Faculty members are friendly. Course curriculum is good and enough for students. Semester and practical exams are well-handled.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for medical field. Every year intracultural and sports events are conducted and students have more fun. Scholarships are available to all community students.

Placements: This is a medical college so there are no placements, we only do internships after the final year. After completing the final year, students will do an internship for one year. They will be given a salary for one year after that students have to write NEET PG exam to get a PG seat.
Infrastructure: There will be separate classrooms for each batch of students. There are labs, a dissection hall, and museums for respective subjects. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls. We have a canteen and a library in our college which the students make use of it.
Faculty: Professors in our college are knowledgeable and well-experienced. We have clinical classes in our government hospital in the morning session where we have lots of patients and take cases. You can see more patients with varieties of diseases. In the afternoon session, we have classes in the college.

Memories at Coimbatore Medical College.
Placements: There is no placement in medical colleges. Students have to write exams to secure government jobs or join private hospitals. More than 90% of students secure either government or private jobs. 100% of students secure internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has separate facilities for 19 subjects, separate labs, and classrooms for each subject. Library is common for all of us. There are 4 separate hostel buildings, with separate messes for each year's students. Canteen is common for all of us. Good quality food is provided in the canteen. As we are in medical college, we have good medical support.
Faculty: Our teachers are more helpful, educated, and knowledgeable, and hold MD degrees. They teach easily and interestingly. Curriculum changes every year and becomes tougher. We undergo more suffering for the semester exam.
Other: My parents want me to become a doctor. We save people who are suffering and those who need help. If they teach with more patients, we can have more patient exposure so that we learn more. We conduct intra-college and inter-college events every year.

Does Coimbatore Medical College offer B.Sc Cardiology and BPT course?

Coimbatore Medical College (the government-run institution in Coimbatore) does not offer a B.Sc in Cardiology nor a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree. Its paramedical programs include B.Sc. Cardiac Technology (not cardiology) and other related fields—not B.Sc Cardiology or BPT .
