Review of College of Dairy and Food Technology, Udaipur.
Placements: Around 70–80% students get placements in companies like Amul, Nestled, Cadbury, Britannia, Saras, etc. The highest package offered was 12 lacs, and the lowest was 6 Lacs per annum. Roles offered are those of daily technologists and dairy engineers. The average package is 7 to 8 lacs.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available for the students to use for studying. Labs and classrooms are amazing, and smart classrooms are amazing. The library is large and contains about 15,000 books and 2500 e-books. The facility in the hostel is below the expectations and the food provided is not tasty.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly with students. They are very qualified and have 12+ years of experience in this college. The curriculum makes the students ready for industrial purposes. The semester exams are moderate. Pass percentage is 33%.
Other: The course is very innovative and new in the engineering field and has a very large scope. There is no need to improve the course. Scholarships are given to the girls for about 12,000 in college.

Very nice college as placement percentage is very high and good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Generally there is 70 to 80% placement of students. Package from 5 lac to 10 lac per year is offered. Nestle, amul, danon, mother dairy are top recruiting companies. 80% students got internship in various food companies like nestle, amul, mother dairy, saras, godra, Britannia .
Infrastructure: As a government body there is good facilities in every department Wi-Fi facilities, smart labs, varied infrastructure, has labs for every department classrooms, library facilities is good and best sports facilities given from university. Hostel facilities is up to the mark. Wi-Fi facilities and good food facilities are given.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful towards students. Very qualified and knowledgeable as most of the teachers have passed out from the same college only as it is the only college in Rajasthan that has dairy and food technology. Curriculum is on point and based on practical knowledge. Semester exams are little bit difficult min 40% is required .

Infrastructure, faculty members and facilities are very good.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. We have a good placement percentage, and almost all students are satisfied with placements. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. All the students got an internship from the course in various companies like Mother Dairy, Havmor, Saras and many others.

It makes students industry-ready as we are not only taught theory but also proper practical knowledge is given. We are made to perform experiments.

Our college is great and good in sports, studies with great infrastructure good placements.
Placements: Placements are good. Top India's companies are visiting here like Amul, Mother Dairy, etc. We get great salary packages, and we also get good work experience. We learn a lot of new things like how to handle machinery and how to handle workers. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average GPA scored is 7.5.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The library is small, but we get all the important books in the library. For some books, we get into trouble. The hostel is good and well-furnished. Rooms are a bit small, so we need extra space. The canteen food is great. There are proper health checkups at the month-end.
Faculty: Only a few permanent faculty members are available here for teaching us. They are available all the time in college as per college timing, but the rest are temporary faculty members. They only come for 1 to 2 hours only for teaching us, and then they leave the college. Temporary faculty members are also good, but we need permanent faculty members.
Other: I have chosen this course because dairy technology is a trending course nowadays. I recommend newcomers to show interest in this subject as it has a lot of scopes.

Review of College of Dairy and Food Science Technology.
Placements: More than 80% of the students were placed before their 7th semester. The highest package offered is 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest package offered is 4.5 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 5.2 Lacs per annum. The top-recruiting companies are IDBI Bank, Amul, GCMMF, Nestle India, Britannia, RCDF, Mars India, Danone, Haldirams etc. Every year, most of the students go for internships in dairy and food processing plants. In dairy technology/food technology, you will learn about technology, engineering, chemistry, microbiology, business and management courses.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, library, individual labs, Wi-Fi room, and a student-welfare room. The quality of food provided in both boys' and girls' hostels is very good. The hostels are neat and clean. Students who play sports can have very good opportunities as the college supports them. Every year, national-level programs are organised, and the college teams participate in it.
Faculty: The main thing which is the base of this college is its faculty members. They have 20+ years of experience and are student-friendly. During the 3 years of study, students are made ready manage and operate all the industry techniques and ready to go further.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech dairy technology as it is my dream to be. The person doing this would be able to go further for MBA or government jobs as agriculture is a vast area to survive.

Completely satisfying course curriculum, good placements, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is satisfying with more than 90% of students getting placed every year. The highest package offered was 7.5 Lacs and the lowest package for 3 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Nestle, Amul, ITC etc. More than 90% of students got internship in various food and dairy industries.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar. The college infrastructure is quite satisfying. Classrooms, including smart classes are there. Labs are fully equipped with various machines and equipments to enhance our practical knowledge. The library of our college is also full of books, magazines etc.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is full of knowledge every subject teacher is very helpful and qualified. The teachers are always there to help whenever a student is facing problem in the subject. The course curriculum is very relevant which makes a student industry ready by full practical as well as theoretical knowledge.

Absolutely dissatisfied with lackof permanent faculty but classes are held properly .
Placements: Placements are average or above average sometimes. Approximately 80% of the students get placed either by the placement given by the company coming to college or sometimes the students have to go to apply to the company for having the placement. Most of the companies like Nestle, Amul fed, Saras come to the college for acquiring students for the designation of technocrats in their plants. They usually offer the package of 4 to 6 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and building of the college has only a single floor ( I. e. ground floor only). Laboratory consists of the proper amount of new equipment but there is less space for keeping them there. Hence all the equipments are not used usually and the students have to perform similar practicals only. There are no facilities for separate hostels for girls, they have to share with the hostels of the CTAE college of our university MPUAT. The food offered by the mess is not that good in quality, usually, the Water Filter in the hostel gets broken down, no proper washroom cleaning facilities are there instead students have to share the room with other students.
Faculty: There are well qualified teachers in our college, most of them are the guest faculty. There is a shortage of the permanent faculty in our college instead the course is followed according to the ICAR syllabus of 5th dean committee properly and the exams are conducted time to time with proper practicals and theory credits. At present we only have 4 permanent faculty members in different department and the rest are guest faculty members.
Other: The major disadvantage of this college is the shortage of the permanent faculty instead the students of the college are getting flying colours in exams and mainly got selected for student of the year award and are placed in many multinational companies around the globe. Co-curricular activities are performed on a regular basis including NSS camp, scout, NCC camp. The college has marked success in university fest with many national winners. The environment of the college is quite worth studying and students are supportive to each other and friendly in nature.

Overall, our college is good.
Placements: About 80% of the students get placements from our college. The lowest salary package of 4.5 LPA and the highest salary package of 8 LPA are offered in our course in our college. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Nestle, Amul, Mother Dairy, AmulFed are the most recruiting companies for our college, and they offer good internships also for students.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not that good here. There are labs, but appropriate instruments are not available. Wi-Fi facility is not provided for students in our college. The library is well managed, but there are no sufficient books, and books are mostly of old editions. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and have quite good knowledge in their respective subjects. But the number of faculty members available in our college is not sufficient. Our college is running mainly through guest faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in this field, and the dairy sector has good scope all over the world because milk is the basic need of every person. India is the leading producer and consumer of milk. So I would like to serve my country by providing people with valuable products of milk through learning the dairy course. I wish that our college facilities should be improved, and our college should appoint a sufficient number of faculty members. Our college should get ICAR accreditation again. Scholarships are good and are provided from time to time to all girls and other lower groups students. Events are organised by the students on their own. The students union is the main thing in this college. All students are very helpful, and the seniors are very kind.
