Dissatisfied hostels but the great campus life and placement at PAU.
Placements: Getting placed here is quite easy due to the strong alumni network within the university. The seniors are very helpful, and there are no issues with ego among them. Alumni of PAU are spread across top universities around the globe and are eager to offer assistance.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the institution is good, but the hostels are in poor condition. Some renovation work has now been initiated, so we hope for improvements soon. The Wi-Fi system functions well, classes are engaging, and the mess food is satisfactory—there have been no issues in that regard. Additionally, the sports facilities are excellent.
Faculty: The courses offered are not overly challenging. Teachers are supportive and helpful in explaining new topics. They maintain a positive demeanor and do not have anger issues. The practical sessions are beneficial in encouraging students to grasp concepts more easily.

PAU- one of the best state agriculture university.
Placements: Only 20% of the of the students placed in our batch had an average package of 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies include Bayer and Syngenta. But most of the students prefer Masters and government job preparation, as there are many jobs for agriculture graduates. Internships were available last year on campus as well as at companies like Crop Chemical.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The university has play grounds, library, cafe, hotel, etc. Hostels have wi-fi and the rooms are also clean. university has its own hospital, where treatment is free for students. Classrooms have projectors and lawns have all the required equipments.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified, having Ph.D. They are very cooperative with students. The method of teaching is also good. The course curriculum is completely relevant and makes the students ready to work in agriculture department. Semester exams are not very difficult to qualify for, and passing percentage is 55%.

It is a good college for this course.
Placements: Few students got placed in our course. The top recruiting companies are Verka, Amul, IFFCO, etc. Many students got selected for research assistant jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are separate hostels for UG and PG students. There is also a separate hostel for international students. Girls' hostels are closed after 7:00 PM and they have separate blocks within the hostels. Wi-Fi is available. Library is well-equipped. Several books are available in our library. Hospital facilities are available 24X7. It has separate courts for games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are conducted along with practicals of each subject. The course curriculum is issued by the UGC. The 4th year is all about training and internships. The pass marks are 8.7-8.9 CGPA.

Dissatisfied with placements last year, good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: You have to crack the entrance test for admissions in any of the courses here. Top ranks will be selected, around 40 seats for general and then reserved seats. This is a 4 year degree programme where you'll learn almost about every stream. Great scope in India as well as abroad. You are eligible for the ADO and HDO exams after this degree completion. You can also be a food inspector, soil inspection officer and many more. Also recruited by various food processing industries. Great opportunities in agribusiness. University have CGPA system, 7 or more than 7 capable is considered good.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure having all the facilities like washrooms, Wi-Fi, canteens, individual book banks for all different departments. Have Asia's the largest library in the campus. Labs with international class equipments. But hostels are not so good, old buildings with a lot of damages. Quality of food in mess is average. Medical facilities are also not so good. Great infrastructure for sports but no so good coaches. You'll have both the options for NSO and NSS. You'll have all hockey stadium, cricket ground, cycling velodrome, swimming pools, gym, athletic tracks and all type of games.
Faculty: Faculty is too good. All the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and scientists. Habe a great research experience and well-equipped with practical knowledge also. Digital teaching technologies also available. But have very hectic lecture schedules and tough examination system. You've to go through 4 rounds of exams in 6 month semester I. e first hourly exams, mid term exams, practical exams and then end term examswith a Vast syllabus. Many of the courses make you industry ready and many will prepare you for lab and field work. This will also help in civil service jobs.
Other: Our country is agriculture leading nation and more than 60% of our population depends upon agricultural income directly or indirectly. Therefore have a great scope and opportunity in this field.

Punjab Agricultural University has good campus life.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Almost 50% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. Many students opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Our campus is clean. Laboratories are also available. Playground is also provided for sports. Our college surroundings are green.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. All teachers are Ph.D. scholars. The teaching quality is better. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry.

Review of PAU, Ludhiana.
Placements: Students are eligible for placements in the last semester, and they are informed about companies by the placement cell through emails. The highest package offered is about 6.5 lacs per annum, and the average package is 3 lacs per annum. Around 50% of students got placed. After degree, I want to try for a government job in the agriculture field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Some hostels are also very neat and clean, but the old hostels like hostel-1 and the old girls' hostel have poor quality facilities. Hostels have 2 seater and 4 seater rooms. There are coolers but not AC in rooms. Hostels are very affordable. It has a garden, canteen, mess, television room, and a table tennis room. In the mess, the food quality is above average. There is a proper weekly menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sweets are provided along with dinner.
Faculty: There are very good teachers, but some of them are not good. They have PhDs. This course makes students industry-ready because we have training programs in the last semester. If you score well in the first hourly and mid-terms, then it is easy to get good marks in finals, but you have to study well.
Other: I chose this course because of its scope. Every year, a youth fest is conducted in October in which students from different colleges participate, and a guest is invited for prize distribution. Apart from this, an annual function is also conducted in January in which all the sports students are given awards. PAU library is very efficient. It has 3 floors, and all kinds of books related to academics and non-academics are available, and the seating arrangements are very good. Air-conditioners and computers are present. The classrooms have projectors. For sports, the university has well-maintained stadiums like a hockey stadium, cricket stadium, and a football stadium, along with well-trained coaches. Extracurricular activities include debate, art, slogan and writing competitions for which students are awarded by the dean. The university has a student welfare group that is run by students whose function is to financially aid weak students and raise important issues for students' welfare.

I am quite satisfied with the university.
Placements: There are no good placements. Only a few companies came to the campus that offers very low packages, which lie between 2.5 LPA and 3 LPA. The university does not support placements of students. However, the courses taught are very useful. Students are trained very well so that they can run their own businesses or help farmers effectively.
Infrastructure: Very efficient facilities are provided for study. There is a projector in every classroom. Moreover, there are various labs for practical work which have all the required equipment like microscopes, incubators, autoclaves, laminar airflow, etc. Apart from this, a Wi-Fi facility is available in hostels. Libraries have an air conditioning system, so students can study effectively.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, i.e., they have doctorate degrees. They are all very helpful and have great knowledge that can make students train enough in particular fields. Excellent practical knowledge is provided to students. Exams aren't very difficult. The pattern of exams is usually objective and subjective. The minimum passing percentage is 55%.

It has a good campus life, facilities but placements are decent.
Placements: On average only 30-40% of the placements are provided. Even students are not interested in placements rather they are interested in the PPSC exam. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA - 4 LPA. These placements are in agriculture industries. The internships rate is fine. Almost 60% of the students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi service is available and is good. Classrooms are decent and seem old-style but fine. Library is very good and has a vast variety of books. You are provided with good medical facilities after a medical card is issued to you for free medicines. There are 4-5 canteens here and all are so good. For sports, football, athletics, hockey, and basketball ground is available along with the cycling track and swimming pool.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and understanding if you have any problems. Teaching quality of them is also good though. The course curriculum is somehow 70% relevant but still, students get industry-ready after some internship experience. Semester exams have a normal difficulty level. Most exams are mixed subjective and objective. The pass percentage is 55%.
Other: This course is top-notch in the university. Everyone has this in tier first preference as there are so many vast choices for students after this course. But the problem is that we have one semester to give many exams. During the 5 month semester, you have to give an hourly exam, mid-term exam, practical exam, and end semester exams resulting in much stress. A decent number of events are held like youth festivals, sports meet, etc. Some scholarships are also available but they are only for reserved categories. You can opt for sports or NCC or NSS during the course as extracurricular.
