Information regarding our college.
Placements: Colleges offer placements and study is very good. Agriculture offers lots of scope in this field and it also gives students practical knowledge. Agriculture is the main source of income it has many career opportunities for students and college is also good.
Infrastructure: Hostels have good infrastructure and more hostels are also in progress. Attendees and warden are good. Hostel has good facilities like washing machines and parking space. Food is also good and timing provided is on basis of students care.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and helpful. They always support their students and also provide knowledge about our careers. Exams are of medium level and pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I am interested in agriculture, and I come from a village background. Other activities are also held like games and cultural programs. Fest should be organized.

Review of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu.
Placements: There are no placement programs in this college. Training and internships are offered by prestigious universities. Top recruiting companies are Bayer, etc. Few students are eligible for international internships for 2 months in America.
Infrastructure: Our university has all equipment and chemicals in the laboratory. Classrooms are air-conditioned. It also has smart boards for better learning.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are regularly monitored by the Dean and VC. They also conduct classes regularly. They provide practical experience to students. At the end of the degree, a RAWE program is conducted through which ground-level knowledge is accumulated. This university keeps a close eye on the teaching staff members and course curriculum. All professors are dedicated to their work.
Other: Many fests and events are held. Kisan Mela is held twice a year, which is the biggest fest in the North zone. Agrifest is held once a year. ABVP is active in this university and conducts a lot of conferences and events.

I am satisfied with this government university as it is perfect with great exposures.
Placements: Students get internships in great industries all over Jammu and in adorning states, which amplifies the great performance in our personality.
Infrastructure: Our campus has the most the biggest library in Jammu and Kashmir with the highest number of books available. There are Wi-Fi, labs, the library, etc. In our campus, we have different 11 blocks for different departments which include minimum 3 research labs in each department with ample of fields with a stream in between for research. There are a student centre, sports complex, sports ground, the largest auditorium of Jammu & Kashmir and large classrooms which can accomodate about 150 students with air-conditioners which are not usually provided by governments university. Hostels for UG has a single room for students with new infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers here are the best all over India because of government university. Though in Jammu, we have faculty members from different parts of India, which gives a great exposure to the students. All professors are PhD or post-doctorates as their minimum qualification, and they are well-knowledgeable. Teaching quality is great with a little practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is one in all courses to develop our personality in maths, economics, genetics, rural psychology, NSS, field visits, extra cultural activities, and everything is covered in this course. You have a great future in this course with research, management or government sectors. Every year the intercollege fest is organised known as Agrifest (kairos) and a sports meet. Apart from that, various teams of our university, such as a sports team, cultural team, etc., are sent to national events every year on government expenditure.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available but the infrastructure is not very good. The library is present. Wi-Fi is not working somewhere. Hostel rooms are okay but the food of mess is not good. The money they took from us is pretty high but the quality of the food is not good. The canteen is also present.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but they are not teaching us properly and some are not knowledgeable. The teaching quality of some teachers is very poor. Industry visits are also available. The exam difficulty level is moderate, not very high, so everyone can easily pass the exam. The pass percentage is 5.5 CGP.
Other: I choose this course because I couldn't get admission in medical college Best thing about the course that u get the information about all plants and crops how to grow it College need to increase more practical work More functions for more exposure Educationionl trips for better exposure Events are very low campus crowd is okk Scholarship is also okk .

A university which is good but with few cons.
Placements: No much students were placed this year and the highest package was 8lpa and average is 6.6lpa. Placement cell is still under development so not much placements till now but yes there are many ways of getting internship though his university. So yech placement is a big issue here.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, it's pretty good over here. Hostels are good too:single room for each person (boys) and sharing for girls. Wi-Fi is available, a central library is also available over here. Other than that, AC's are installed in every classroom. Gym facility is also available and there is a sports complex where you can play different games like badminton, table tennis etc.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty qualified over here and yes knowledge wise too they are much capable Few subjects weren't relevant till this year but due to NEP (National education policy), those courses are removed now which is indeed a good thing. Semester exams are moderate like if you will study properly, you will surely be able to score good marks and you have to gain atleast 55% or 5.5CGP to pass!
