The college is good for knowledge, but not good placement.
Placements: 50% of students are placed in the branch every year. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Secure the meter for placement here. The college doesn't give internships; we have to apply on our own. The top role offered is software engineer.
Infrastructure: There is no good Wi-Fi connectivity in college. Labs are in good condition, classrooms are average, and the library is good. You will get study material from there. The quality of food is above average, no good medical facilities, and the college is good at sports.
Faculty: The college has good and experienced teachers. Their nature is also good and helpful. This course trains students for industrial work, but they have to make efforts on their own. The semester exam difficulty is average, and the passing mark is 40% in each subject for students.
Other: I chose this due to future scope; make this more practical. Not too many events, but seminars are conducted.

Faculty members are pretty good at teaching and have a helpful nature, and the college is good.
Placements: In my college, only 20% of students got placement. The highest placement is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Core branches got good placements, like the Agriculture branch and Mining, they got packages of 16 to 20 LPA. But overall, placement is not good.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms and library are good, but labs have old model computers, and they are not in good condition. Hostel facilities are also not good. The mess has no hygiene and no taste in food; many students have food issues. There are no game facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty good in teaching and have a helpful nature as they help us during exams and in our studies, but the exams are not that good because the papers are very tough and they check the answer sheets very strictly, even cutting marks in many papers for just one mark.
Other: I want to be a software engineer, that's why I chose this course. The facilities and gadgets are good, but no events are organized.

There is no good placement. The campus and the food are not good.
Placements: Only 30% of students get placement at this college. The average package is 6 LPA, the highest is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. 70% of students get internships in many companies like Adobe, Infosys, etc., as software engineers and networking engineers.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi labs are in good condition. The library is fully available. However, the hostel is not in good condition. The rooms are not clean, and the food facilities are also not good, with no hygiene. We also face water problems many times, and the hostel looks old.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified in their studies. Their teaching skills are also good, and regular classes are conducted, but there are not many facilities. The course is somewhat helpful, but not enough to make students fully industry-ready. The exams are very difficult, and many students get back papers. The pass percentage is 6 CGPA.
Other: It is a very knowledgeable subject, and today’s generation depends on technology, which is why I chose it. There are no fests or events organized.

I think this college is value for money and has a huge alumni network.
Placements: The average package of CSE is around 5 LPA. TCS and SecureMeter are the main recruiters from our college, offering a minimum package of 4 LPA. For other branches like Mining, Agriculture, Mechanical, and Electrical, this college is good and offers value for the money we invest.
Infrastructure: Hostels of CTAE are nice, but washrooms are not cleaned on a regular basis. The food is just okay, suitable only for survival. First-year students face many restrictions, and the college does not provide much freedom. Hostels have a common hall, mess, indoor games, and much more.
Faculty: The semester exams are a little bit difficult. I think the curriculum is outdated and needs to be changed. Many students also get backlogs in their semester exams. I believe the syllabus for first-year courses should be updated, and the curriculum should provide practical knowledge and better exposure.
Other: I am interested in coding. A fest is conducted every year. The connectivity from the railway station is 5 km, and from the airport, it is 27 km.

Not good facilities, not expressive facilities.
Placements: Good placement with the highest package of 8 LPA, lowest 3 LPA, and average 5-6 LPA. Companies include JK Laxmi, Udaipur Cement, Tata, Wonderful Cement, and Vedanta. College students are normal. Around 40-45 percent have internships. Top roles offered include 75% attendance, fieldwork, lab work, and assignment work, with many loads.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in all rooms. There are labs, a library, and classrooms. The condition of the food and mess is poor. The canteen is not good. There is no medical facility. Sports like cricket, kabaddi, and table tennis are good. Many games are available, but only in the first year. The hostel mess floor is in poor condition and not hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers have no knowledge and are not industry-ready. The semester pass percentage is around 40%, with an average of 4 CGPA. Semester exams are conducted on the college campus, and the semester papers are very different and difficult. Most students do not get good CGPA, and many get backlogs and markbacks each semester.
Other: No events, no programs. Scholarships are available but not activated. Students take admission in this college only if they do not get admission in IIT, NIT, or IIIT.

CTAE is the best college in Rajasthan after IIT Jodhpur and NIT Jaipur.
Placements: Placements are avarage. The package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA in all branches except mining. In mining, the average package is 12 LPA, which is so good for placements. In 2025, the highest package of college is 24 LPA, which is from the mining branch. From CSE, the package is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The campus area is about 650 acres. On campus, both boys' and girls' hostels are present. It has a canteen, medical facilities, sports and games facilities, all things are present in good condition. Labs, classrooms, and the library are in well-maintained condition.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in all departments of the College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur. The course curriculum is not so good, but it is all done by the college from time to time, which is the best thing about college. The exam pattern is easy and moderate. We should pass the college exams without any backlogs.

Rajasthan top 4th college good or the worst?
Placements: 70-80% of students are placed. The highest package is 12.3 LPA. The average package is 6.28 LPA. The lowest package is 3.44 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, and others. Many persons who are interested in internships can take internships. Roles are available like freshers, software engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are okay. As there are separate buildings for all departments and the college is very old. But there is a permanent facility for Wi-Fi on campus. Here, 5G supports with fast speeds. Mess and canteen are below average as there is no quality and quantity of food.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Teachers very good with normal speed. Courses curriculum is some old but I think it does not make students ready for industry. So, students have to do their own things for industry. Semester exams are difficult than average as they do not only focus on theory but they also focus on numericals.

Overall, my experience with CTAE is quite good, including faculties, infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: In my branch, around 80 percent of students get placed. The highest package got by a student is 12 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Appperfect, Securemeter Limited, Advaiya, Kansoft, etc. The percentage of students getting internships is around 60. I cannot comment on their companies. The roles offered in my course are frontend and backend developer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is quite good, with 3 buildings, a good lab environment with a sufficient number of computers, qualified lab assistants, and good network connectivity. The faculty members are highly educated with experience and knowledge. The classes are furnished with the latest technologies like smart classes and multimedia, etc. The library is vast, with around 60,000 volumes of books and other resources like journals, novels, Ph.D. theses, project reports, standards, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, highly educated, and knowledgeable with PhDs from prestigious institutes like IITs and NITs. Their teaching methodology is very impressive and awesome, which captures every student's focus. The course curriculum is very relevant, aiming at imparting quality education and quenching the thirst for knowledge. It emphasizes both the theory and practical aspects of subjects. The difficulty of exams ranges from moderate to hard, with a passing percentage of 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the computer science field and am eager to acquire as much knowledge as possible. The areas I wish to improve are that they should recruit more permanent faculty members and provide better exposure to students regarding technologies. There are many events, extracurricular activities, and fests organized in college as well as university levels regularly, as per the academic calendar published by the college and university. The campus surroundings are awesome, with greenery and scenic views. Scholarships are also provided by both the government and private as per their guidelines and eligibility.

CTAE and RTU are filled by REAP( 200 to 2500 in REAP). The normal admission of CTAE varies from 16000 to 12000 rank in JEE MAINS and nearly same goes for RTU,KOTA. That is around 50 to 60 to150 marks in MAINS.
