at SVUCE, Tirupati

Sri Venkateshwara University college of engineering does not offer an M.Tech programme specially in chemical engineering with a specialisation in structural engineering. SVUCE primarily focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology, with specializations in disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering etc.

SVUCE Tirupati offers a two-year M.Tech programme in six specialisations. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for any of the below-mentioned M.Tech specialisations:

• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering-Geotechnical Engineering
• Civil Engineering- Structural Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc.

If we compare SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College and CIT Chennai, we can see that SVUCE offers more M.Tech programmes than the other two colleges. Rajalakshmi Engineering College offers 11 M.Tech courses whereas Rajalakshmi Engineering College only offers eight and CIT Chennai only offers three courses. SVUCE also has a more varied tuition fee, with total tuition fee of the programme at INR 37,000 - 86,000 depending upon the course chosen.

If we compare the M.Tech programme of SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) and CIT Chennai, we will see that REC and CIT Chennai have the same tuition fee at INR 50,000 whereas, SVUCE M.Tech tuition fee is varied. The total tuition fee of the M.Tech programme is INR 37,800 to 86,000 depending on the type of course chosen.

SVUCE students can apply for the Central Sector Scholarship for College and University Students offered by the government. Under this scheme, 82,000 fresh scholarships are offered every year to meritorious students.  tHe annual family income of the students must be up to INR 8 Lacs to apply for the scholarship.

Sri Venkateshwara University college of engineering (SVUCE) primarily focuses on offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology. At that time, Sri Venkateshwara University college of engineering did not offer a PG Diploma in journalism (Urdu) or any journalism- related programs.

Candidates are offered seat in SVUCE Tirupati BTech based on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score whereas, GATE or Andhra Pradesh PGECET scores are considered for M.Tech admission. SVUCE has a total intake of 360 for BTech and 180 for MTech. Aspirants are alloted seat based on their entrance exam rank. Candidates need to bring the specified documents for verification at the time of admission.
