CET is the Common Eligibility Test that is a generalized preliminary test for the employment procedure in all the non-gazetted (Group B & C) posts. The purpose of introducing CET is to make the process of recruitment easier and more transparent. As per the present examination protocol, aspirants need to fill out different forms for different exams and need to travel to different places as well. Under CET, the government is trying to save the energy, enthusiasm, money, and valuable time of the aspirants. Exams To Be Conducted Under CET As we all know, there are some commissions or boards that conduct these kinds of multi-level entrance exams for recruitment in various posts of the central government. The CET will eliminate the preliminary levels of the examinations conducted by: the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
