B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.4

Good infrastructure, facilities, and faculty members. Good placements as of 2024 and 2025.
Placements: I am from the 2025 batch, Mechanical Engineering. I have completed my first semester here. I have communicated with a lot of seniors. As I have talked to them, from the Mechanical Engineering branch, more than 50 percent of students get placed from every batch. And for other branches like CSE and ECE, there are a good amount of placements too. The highest package is 40 LPA for the college.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, and all the lab facilities are available here. Course-related facilities are well provided. Most of the classrooms have Wi-Fi access. There is a central computation facility where there are a lot of computers, and it is accessible for all the students from 9 am–9:30 pm on all working days. Men’s hostel has good facilities including washing machines. Food is also provided for all the inmates.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced. I would not say that about all the faculty members, but most of them are good. Sincerity is seen in most of the faculty members. The curriculum is a bit hard to catch up with but is manageable if you keep in touch with the academic side. There are two series exams, lab exams, and end semester exams. Series exams are a bit tough to make sure we have good knowledge of the subjects.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I have a good interest in machines and developments. It has a lot of practical work, and all such lab facilities are available here. I would like if the college had more technical facilities. Good events have been conducted at college at the time of fresher’s events. And I am still at my 2nd semester, and more is yet to come.

Overall, CET is very much value for money with good placements and exposure.
Placements: Almost 60–70 percent of students get placed, with the lowest package of 1 LPA and the highest of almost 44 LPA. CET is considered to have good placements. The number of placements offered for CS is the highest, followed by EEE, and then ECE. The average package of CET is around 7-7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure can be considered good, though not the best. Newer buildings are coming up. Wi-Fi is good, and the college has a good library and an indoor stadium. Labs and workshops are a little old, but for the fees, the college is very much worth it. Overall, CET stands neutral in terms of infrastructure and hostel facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members have very good backgrounds. We have teachers from IIT KGP, IIT Delhi, IISc Bangalore, etc., who are well established and provide us with good exposure. However, the university KTU is not very good. Exams are easy. The curriculum is good, and the pass percentage is around 95 percent.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A strong engineering programme with great campus life.
Placements: Many ECE students get placed in core or IT companies but average placement packages tend to be more modest. Around 5 LPA–6 LPA for those placed through regular placement drives (excluding high offers) in some years. CET offers excellent placement opportunities for ECE students, with a mix of high-paying core roles and strong IT placements. Students who build good technical skills and project experience often secure top offers.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped laboratories: For engineering branches including ECE, CET provides departmental labs and technical facilities for practical and research work. These include the Communication Engineering Lab, Digital Electronics / DSP Lab, Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab, and VLSI & Embedded Systems Lab. These labs have modern equipment like CROs, function generators, FPGA kits, DSP kits, and relevant simulation software.
Faculty: The ECE department at CET has a mix of experienced professors and associate professors covering a broad range of specializations including communications, signal processing, optical communications, VLSI/microelectronics, embedded systems, robotics, and biomedical electronics.
Other: Students participate in events like hackathons, ideathons, and project expos. These clubs help build real-world skills beyond the classroom.

The best college for average students.
Placements: Approximately 80% of the students are placed by this college. The highest package is around 40 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Here, most students are placed in 6 to 10 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS and Texas Instruments. Last year, 14 students were placed in Air India for 10 LPA. Around 90-98% students got internships from Wipro, TCS, IBM, ABB and Accenture. The top roles offered by the course are Software Developer, Data Scientist and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college offers comparatively good lab facilities and other infrastructure. The college has a very good library, which contains a large no of books that are helpful for academics and industries. The college Men's hostel is well-maintained by the officials and students and offers good food.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and teach in a good manner. The curriculum is not quite relevant. But it offers industry-ready courses like AI and data Science. The internal exams are quite tough, but the end-of-semester exams are a bit simpler. It is quite easy to pass the sem exam rather than the internal exams.
Other: The students in the college organise so many events to enjoy, and other tech fests for students to build their profile.

It is a good college in Kerala with good placements.
Placements: I am currently studying, and approximately 80% of students get placed from this college. The highest package is around 40 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Most students get placed in the 6–10 LPA range. The top recruiters are TCS and Texas Instruments. Last year, 14 students got placed in Air India for 10 LPA. Around 90–98% of students get internships from Wipro, TCS, IBM, ABB, and Accenture. The top roles offered by the course are Software Developer, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst in Computer Science.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are average. All kinds of labs are available, but they are not well maintained or furnished. The main hostel is excellent. The mess is controlled by students themselves, so the food is excellent. The rooms are well maintained, and the monthly rate is affordable for everyone. A football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, and badminton court are also available. The ambience of the hostel is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and have good experience. Some of them are graduates from IIT. They are very kind to students. The curriculum is okay, not very nice. The exams are a little difficult. For a semester, there are two series exams and an end-semester exam.

The curriculum is old, but campus life is the best.
Placements: In 2025, already 40 to 50% of 4th-year students get placed with packages of about 10 to 20 LPA. The highest package is around 30+ LPA, and the lowest is 4 to 6 LPA. The average package for Computer Science is nearly 8–9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Texas. Each year, 70 to 80% of students get placed in my course from companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Oracle, Amadeus, etc. Around 40% of students get internships in companies like Oracle, IBM, TCS, etc. Top roles include software engineer, app technician, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi in every class. All computer labs are fully air-conditioned and work from 9 am to 9 pm. There is a library in each department and also a technical library for the entire college. The hostel is above average. There are workers to clean washrooms, and free Wi-Fi is available. The mess and canteen are very good, providing the best food at low cost. There are football, volleyball, and various other grounds. Medical services are near the college and easily accessible.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. They clear all our doubts. They teach using boards, PPTs, or projectors. Seminar hall classes are also conducted sometimes. The course curriculum is a bit old, but I personally don't appreciate it. KTU curriculum is the best. Semester exams are easier, but internal exams are of good quality and standard.
Other: I like programming and coding, so I chose this course. I wish the curriculum were more updated and efficient. Events, fests, and other extracurricular activities are good and enjoyable.

GIBS is pretty flexible when it comes to entrance exams. They accept almost all the common management tests — CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, State CET, and even GMAT. In my batch itself, we had students who came through different exams, not just CAT.

Honestly, that's one thing I liked about GIBS — they d

Yes, students can get admission in LNCT University Bhopal without LNCT CET. The university conducts the exam for UG admissions. However, those with scores in other exams are also eligible. Students can submit JEE/ NATA/ CAT/ GATE/ NEET scores too.

There is no minimum marks required to appear in MAH CET counselling. Candidate with more than 0 in MAH CET or other entrance exams can register for CAP. However, selection will be based on minimum cut offs for the participating colleges.
