Good infrastructure but faculty and placements are not good.
Placements: Most students of forestry here prepare themselves for exams like range officer and IFS. They got internships in college projects. If students complete their Ph.D. from this college, they have a chance to get jobs as professors here only. For horticulture students, there is a vast scope.
Infrastructure: There are 2 hostels for girls. One is near to our college. The other is near the center of the city of Hamirpur. There are smart classrooms, labs, and a library. There is a big ground for sports. Basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, and other athletics are available.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified and provide good sources of knowledge. They provide notes and all the materials which are necessary for students. The difficulty of semester exams is not too much. The pass percentage is pretty good. Maximum students pass semester examinations.
Other: Many events and fests are held in our college.

Satisfactory surroundings of college.
Placements: Almost 1,800 is the strength of students in our college. College placements are good and around 60% of students secured internships. Placement rate is good enough.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well. Classrooms, library, and lab facilities are available for every course. Medical facilities, sports complex, and ground are available. All hostel facilities are available. Food in canteen and mess is good. A cafeteria is provided and a canteen is also on campus. Study facilities are pretty good, surroundings of college are not very good. Uniforms are compulsory, Wi-Fi facilities are not for students.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good and helpful, and the teaching faculty is good. Semester exams are average and not very difficult. Course curriculum is relevant and it provides basic information also and content for competitive exams. It makes students industry-ready but not completely.

This campus is average in everything, and find something better for yourself.
Placements: Actually, there was no placement cell on this campus. The majority of students went on to pursue Master's degrees. Nobody got direct placements from the campus or any sort of internship here. Most students pursued Master's and an MBA from NITs and IIMs.
Infrastructure: The library was good, and the staff was also supportive. There was only one hostel for girls, which had comfortable accommodation, and the food quality was also good. Sports activities were conducted once a year. Canteen food was great when it came to meals and junk food.
Faculty: The curriculum was quite dynamic, but it needed to be more connected to technology. Teachers were helpful. Semester exams were of medium-level difficulty. The pass percentage was 55% in UG, whereas in PG it was 65%. UG in Horticulture was good, but I wouldn't recommend this campus for a Master's.
Other: I chose this course because I was a meritorious student. The best thing was that I came to know about the importance of everything around me. Events and extracurricular were good.

If you have good friends company then you'll enjoy.
Placements: Our batch is 2023-2027. There are 59 students in my class and half of them are paid seats whereas half class has normal seats. There are no salary packages offered in our college but we can give competitive exams. Range officer is the top role offered in this course but we can give other government job exams too like HAS and banking.
Infrastructure: Students are provided with every facility for smooth study as there is a library with a very good study environment. Even in classrooms, there are smartboards and air-conditioners for a comfortable experience. I am not a hostler but I have friends who tell me that hostel food is very nice and hygienic. There is breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner with food variety available. Ambulance service is available. We can play as much as we want as there is one open playground for everyone.
Faculty: Well, almost all teachers are Ph.D. qualified. There are senior professors, assistant professors, and guest faculty members too both theoretical and practical knowledge provided as teachers take students for field visits. Course curriculum is relevant. Even after the new education policy there is a slight change in syllabus. Exams are not very difficult, to be honest, if we read the whole syllabus properly then we can easily pass the exam. Passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because this will help me to know more about our state and environment which will definitely help me in future competitive exams. There are nearly 50 courses we study in the whole B.Sc. At the start of semester, there is a freshers function and in the other semester of the year there is a college fest, Meanwhile, there are many little functions organized. Cultural fest and sports meet are also organized every year and students from all colleges take part and the best ones get prize money too.
