    Good faculty & facilities
Placements: Actually, my course is B.Tech in Food Technology, but there is no option given, hence I chose B.Tech in Biotechnology in the previous section. There were approximately around 10% placed in my course. The average package is around 25k, with the highest being 50-75k and the lowest 10k. The top recruiting companies for my course are Nestle and Amul. None of them are placed because the course began in our college in 2023 and we are yet the first batch to graduate with this degree. Top roles include food auditor, research analyst, food technologist, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a good library equipped with A/C and different kinds of books for preparation. We also have quality labs with equipment for analysis, a processing hall with various food equipment. The facilities are good, equipped with all kinds of basic amenities. We have a decent sports room along with a ground to conduct sports meets. The food available in our canteen is also decent. We have two different canteens that provide both basic and junk foods.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty much well-versed in their disciplines and have good foundational knowledge. There are a number of faculty members for specific courses. The quality of teaching is good. The course is relevant and prepares students for the industry with courses like entrepreneurship development, communication skills, and one related to food science and technology. The exam difficulty is moderate, with the pass percentage being 50%.
Other: I want to pursue something different than my peers. The best things are that it provides knowledge in various aspects of food technology. They also provide exposure by organizing trips to various food industries. It’s also very interesting to do different experiments with a wide range of equipment in labs. There should be an in-depth course for students who are interested in a particular discipline. The campus crowd is pretty chill. Our college is situated in a hilly area, which allows us to enjoy the view of beautiful fields, greenery, forests, etc.
