B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2028
4.8

The placements are good and the faculty is supportive.
Placements: I am Poornitha, currently a 2nd year B.Tech student in IT. In our IT course, the previous batch saw around 85-90 percent of students placed. The highest package offered is about 18 LPA, the lowest around 3.5 LPA, and the average package is nearly 6-7 LPA. I am happy with this.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious, with smart boards and projectors. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the department. The library is great, with Wi-Fi, excellent books to learn from and daily newspapers from different publications. It's great to be on campus but the hostel warden is the worst I've ever had. She is so rude, quite rubbish and unbearable.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and approachable. They are knowledgeable in their subject and encourage practical learning. Teaching quality is good, with a mix of theory and hands-on sessions. The exams are too tough to write, and no men are seen on campus except girls, so it is very boring to be on a campus seeing only girls every day. There is no ragging and no interaction between anyone.
Other: I have an interest in programming, software development, and emerging technologies. This field offers wide career opportunities in IT across various industries and provides a strong base for future growth in AI, data science, and cybersecurity. There is a good placement opportunity with reputed companies, and the college encourages internships, coding contests, and workshops. The faculty is helpful and the curriculum is up to date.

It has good faculty members and facilities. It is really a boring college.
Placements: 89% of students get placed in the course, i.e., information technology. The highest package in my course is 53 LPA, and the average package ranges from 10-12 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies at GNITS are Infosys, Goldman Sachs, Google, and JP Morgan. Around 70% of students have received internship offers, mostly from Infosys.
Infrastructure: The library is always calm, and there's a lot of greenery. At the same time, the canteen food is really good but not very hygienic. Plates are not washed properly. The hostel is also really good, according to my hostel friends, but sometimes they don't get water. It is not allowed to bring day scholars inside. There is a huge ground, a badminton court, throwball court, volleyball court, kho-kho court, and a basketball court.
Faculty: There are a few faculty members who I feel are very misogynistic, and they talk more nonsense than actually teach in class. Overall, there are so many amazing teachers. They are so lovely and make it easier for us during exam season. They give us practice questions, worksheets, and explain all the important and difficult topics, no matter how many times we ask. Semester exams are difficult, but if we study properly and understand the subjects, then it's easy. Nothing is out of the syllabus. 21 out of 60 is the pass mark in semester exams.

This is only a women’s college, but it is equal to other colleges in every activity.
Placements: 81 percent of students were placed in courses with 30 LPA, 50 LPA, and many more packages were offered in these courses. Companies like Deloitte, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Infosys, IBM, etc., offered jobs. Many students got internships from this course in the companies mentioned above.
Infrastructure: All classrooms and the library are very good, and so are the labs. The facilities provided are excellent. The mess is good and provides very hygienic food. Medical facilities are also good. Every day from 4:30 to 6:00, there are sports. The infrastructure of the college is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. No, semester exams will not be difficult because teachers teach very well, and everyone can understand.
Other: I got this course in seat allotment. Coding scholarships are provided, and extracurricular activities are also held.

The college is best in placements, clubs, sports, and hackathons.
Placements: 60-75% of my seniors got placed in top companies like Adobe, Deloitte, Infosys and ServiceNow. The highest package is 52 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Students also get placed in Microsoft. 75% of students got internships from Deloitte and ServiceNow.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, they provide hygienic food and snacks in the evening with a clean mess. It provides Wi-Fi, canteen, gym and sports room. It provides full security. There is also a library with a Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They make us ask queries without any hesitation because they are that friendly to us. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They always teach us the concept of how it works in our real world, and how the technology is implemented in our real world. The course curriculum is perfect, which covers all the credit subjects. It provides all the stuff required for a fresher in this current technical world. The pass percentage is above 75%. Exams are of moderate level. It also conducts 1 industrial trip for students each month.

The facilities will be provided as the student's needs and good infrastructure.
Placements: 95% of students got placed in good companies. The highest package is 54 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies include Amazon, Deloitte, JP Morgan, and other companies. Nearly 50 to 60 different companies will come to campus every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department will be very good. The Wi-Fi will be provided for the students for the courses and their laptops. The labs will be very special for the students, and many systems will be provided to them. The hostel quality will be very good.
Faculty: Faculty members will be very friendly. The teaching will be excellent that many students get the idea about the subject very easily. The students get many opportunities with the help of the course we are studying. The difficulty level will not be at the maximum, nor will not be easy, it will be a proper level.
Other: My course offers promising career prospects. It allows me to expand my knowledge.
