Placements were not up to the mark, Even though we were doing graduation, very less number of companies visited the campus for placement and those visited mostly include BPOs.

Honest review of the college and its courses.
Placements: The college provides no kind of placements, the location of the college is the main reason for this, because this area is not industrial. There is no special cell for placements in the college. Also, no companies visit for the placements. The students need to solely approach the companies for jobs.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is below average and quite good. The labs and classrooms are well-maintained and in good condition. The Library is also good, you can get maximum books and course books too. The food quality of the college canteen is good. There are many game and sports facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers are beneficial, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very effective and good. This course is relevant because it helps to understand concept like business world, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is quite impressive and the passing percentage is around 60%.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placements from this college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Axis Bank, HDFC, and Angel Broking. The top roles are insurance and banking, and the sales department.
Infrastructure: This college is connected with Wi-Fi. There are various laboratories on campus according to the subject. The library has every book that students ask for. This college infrastructure is good and this college is very big. There are many buildings. Students get many options in sports and clubs to choose from. There are two canteens and stationery is also available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified Ph.D. levels. They have experience in teaching for more than 20 years. The quality of the teaching is very good. The contents of the curriculum are relevant and updated with government policy. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams are difficult if students do not study well. The pass percentage is 85%. The exams usually happen in December and May.
Other: I wanted to pursue CA that's why I opted for this course. The best thing about this course is that students get a deep knowledge of subjects like accounts and economics. They should improve the classrooms. There are many activities like NCC and NSS, and I joined NCC.

Satisfied but need some improvement in some aspects.
Placements: Around 50% students got job offer. Average package offered 2-3 Lacs. Minimum package was 1.8 Lacs and maximum 3 lacs was offered. Top Companies like Wipro, SBI Life, Kotak bank etc. roles offered were like marketing executive, or call executive etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities was made available in my later years of graduation. Library is very much good with large number of books and relating to all courses. Classroom were not so good as it was all old infrastructure building but any how manageable. Food quality was average. Sports facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were very experienced and great learning comes from them. Various variety of courses were provided by college which is indeed a good thing. Semester exams were average. Pass percentage is very good say more than 80 percentage. Course curriculum is good for some subjects.
Other: Dav college, Jalandhar has a brand value. College has completed its 100 years so proud to be student of college.

Our college provides a free 5G Wi-Fi facility.
Placements: About 250 students from our course got placed. The salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA by Wipro company. About 50% of students from our course get an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a free 5G Wi-Fi facility. It provides free facilities like air-conditioned rooms, 2 canteens with good food and medical facilities. It provides courts for games like cricket, basketball, hockey, etc.
Faculty: Teachers speak in English. They repeat continually if you do not understand. Their teaching quality is good. They explain through smart class, lab, etc. They prepare us well for exams. Semester 2 exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 50%.

It is the best college for bachelor degree.
Placements: I have completed my B.Com (honours) in 2020. 60% students have been placed through campus placement. The highest package offered is ?10 Lacs by BYJU'S and the lowest package is ?2.80 Lacs by ICICI prudential Life Insurance and average package is? 2.40 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are BYJU'S, Wipro, HDFC Bank, ICICI prudential Life insurance, Axis Bank, Digit Insurance, Chola Insurance. Times of India, Tenhard Pvt. Ltd offers internship to students. Roles offered are Sales Executive, marketing executive, marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was excellent. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. We had modern labs for the chemistry and biology departments. There was a Tally lab for the commerce department. Classrooms were quite old but had large spaces and were comfortable for the students. Dav library is one of the biggest libraries with E-services having a sitting capacity of 200-250 students. All the journals and newspapers are available. Hostel facilities are quite well. Healthy food is available at a reasonable price. College has a hospital where a doctor is available during college hours. Sports facilities are excellent and the college had its own sports ground. Many students from DAV have represented India in different sports.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and cooperative. They understand the situation of students. The permanent staff has experience of more than 10 years of teaching. All were Ph.D. qualified along with UGC NET. The teaching style was excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and students understand the different aspects of life which are necessary for today's time. It is quite easy to clear the exams and almost 95% of students clear them easily.
Other: I opted for this course because it makes you ready for a cooperative world. Training should be provided from starting this would improve the practical knowledge of the students. Various events and fest were organised in the college from time to time. Commerce Fest was celebrated by the commerce department and the IT Fest by the information and technology department. Alumni meeting was also organised to connect students with other students. Sports meet was also organised. Similarly, various scholarships were also given to needy and deserving students such as academic achievers of the college, Single Girl Child Scholarship, Shiv Hand scholarship.
