BTech admission at DY Patil College of Engineering is subject to CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra on the basis of valid scores in MHTCET/ JEE Main and GATE exams. The minimum eligibility criteria for BTech is to pass Class 12/ Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% aggregate (45% in case of Backward class & PwD candidates from Maharashtra) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects. As per the official website of DY Patil College of Engineering, 20% of the seats are reserved for the college management.
