It is an impressive campus and facilities, but teaching quality needs improvement.
Placements: I am from the 2024-2028 batch of B.Tech in Data Science. In our course, nearly 75-80% of students secured placements through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 15 LPA by product-based companies, while the lowest is about 3 LPA, mostly by service-based firms. The average package ranges between 5.5-6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, IBM, and ZS Associate. Around 65-70% of students receive internships in their pre-final year at companies such as Accenture and Tech Mahindra. Intern roles mostly include data analyst, business analyst, and software developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course and department are quite modern and student-friendly. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus, especially in academic blocks, libraries, and labs. The hostel facilities are well-managed with clean and ventilated rooms, proper water supply, power backup, and 24/7 security. The canteen, however, provides more options and is a popular hangout spot. Sports infrastructure is commendable, with open grounds for football, cricket, and athletics, as well as courts for basketball, badminton, and indoor games. Overall, the college infrastructure creates a balanced environment for academics, health, and extracurricular activities, making student life comfortable and engaging.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and have good subject knowledge. They are helpful during and after classes, especially when students have doubts or need extra help with assignments or projects. The curriculum is mostly up-to-date and aligned with current industry trends. It includes both theoretical and practical components, such as lab work, projects, and internship opportunities. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. If you attend classes regularly and study consistently, you can manage the exams well. The pass percentage is usually around 85-90%, but it may vary depending on the subject and department.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in technology, data analysis, and problem-solving. Some subjects need updated content to match the latest industry standards. Our college hosts annual technical and cultural fests, which are vibrant and fun. Clubs for coding, arts, literature, and robotics are active. The campus has a diverse crowd from different parts of the country, creating a good mix of cultures and ideas. Scholarships are available for meritorious and economically weaker students, which is very helpful. Students actively participate in sports, drama, etc.

Updated curriculum with industry-relevant subjects and supportive faculty members.
Placements: The highest package for our batch is 27 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Companies include Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, Apmosys Technologies, tCognition, etc. Roles include front-end developer, back-end developer, data engineer, etc. Many students get PPOs and paid internships for the last semester.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It always regularly works on infrastructure to be updated and good. Every classroom has digital boards. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. High-speed LAN is available in labs. Canteen is very nice with a good ambiance. College has a central library as well as a department library.
Faculty: As the college is autonomous, the curriculum is regularly updated to ensure market trends and avoid an outdated syllabus. Subjects to mention include AI, ML, blockchain, big data, etc. Faculty members are well-qualified. The exam toughness is moderate. The pass percentage is approximately 90%.
Other: College is one of the oldest and most renowned and it's autonomous too. I got admitted through the MHT CET CAP round. The cutoff is 85 percentile for general. Along with academics, college has various extracurricular activities. It has different clubs like coding club, adventure club, photography club, etc. The best part is the annual gathering, which takes place for three days with different shows. Along with we have special days like traditional day, character day, bollywood day, etc.
