B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.6
A guarantee of an internship is a guarantee by consent.
Placements: The percentage of students placed last year is more than 36%. The highest packages last year were 12 LPA and 5 LPA. The average package is where companies are more interested in college. 50% of students got internships through college, and 20% searched for internships outside college.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the office are on time with building structures; every department has its own area, with a 5G Wi-Fi connection. AC facilities are also available. I reduced one star because the sports ground is not available. Still, it has NNC training programs.
Faculty: Teachers available in the college help with many personal problems as well. The technical and financial services provide industrial and practical guidance to the students. The difficulty level is a little bit difficult, but passing is easy for scoring a good CGPA.

It has strong placement support with top recruiters.
Placements: 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2 or 3 LPA. Companies like Technoment, Toyo, Worly, etc., visit the college for placements. Top roles offered in our course are process engineer, production engineer, sales marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: There are clean and well-equipped labs and classrooms. It has a small campus without a hostel. Facilities like Wi-Fi, smart labs, smart board, and the library are very good. DYPCET does not have its own hostel inside the main campus.
Faculty: There are 2 semesters per academic year, an odd semester and an even semester. Overall, it is positive, though experiences vary. It has strict academic enforcement. The course curriculum is considered rigorous, with sensible academic and timely learning. Teachers are very helpful and supportive.
Other: I have always been interested in Chemistry, especially how raw materials transform into useful products, so I chose it.

Excellence in work and good placements will define our college legacy.
Placements: There are many roles offered in my course, as process management, instrumental work, and many software handling internships are being offered for students for real-world applications and a job. If they are working neatly, company itself places them for a job.
Infrastructure: It is a very neat and clean canteen facility, with proper taste and hygiene maintained in food items. Also, the rates of dishes are appropriate. Chapati bhaji is also available for rupees 50. Students tend to take advantage when the tiffin is not brought, also, water purifiers are located within canteen.
Faculty: In my college, there are 2 ISEs, which are of 10/10 marks and MSE mid-semester of 50 marks. Program end semester of 50 marks, which includes a separate passing of 20 marks each. If a student fails to score ISE + MSE 20 marks, they will fail. Also same in ESE exam, you need to score 20 for passing.
Other: Academic calendar is well arranged for events, fests, exams, and extracurricular activities within a semester.

Strong placement support with top recruiters.
Placements: 90% of students are placed in our course. The average package generally falls between 4 to 5 LPA, and the highest package this year is 6 LPA. Top roles in chemical engineering include process engineer, production engineer, etc. Top companies that visit for our course are Tecnomen, Toyo, and World TC.
Infrastructure: Several reviews commend experienced and supportive faculty who are well-qualified. The infrastructure is well-maintained, with modern classrooms, labs, a central library, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The college does not have a hostel, so students often rely on PG accommodation or rented rooms nearby.
Faculty: The curriculum is considered rigorous with sensible academic timelines. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. There are two semesters per academic year: odd semester and even semester. The syllabus is industry-oriented with a practical focus. The training and placement cell empowers careers.
Other: I have always been interested in chemistry, especially how raw materials transform into useful products. Chemical engineering lets me combine this interest with logical thinking and problem-solving skills to work on real-world applications.

Our college is good for 40 years, and placements are too high.
Placements: Most placements are available in our college. More than 50 companies come to our college to place students. A special thing about our college is that most of top companies call and place all students. College placements are approximately 100%.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and library is precious. Wi-Fi range is too good. College campus is so big and there's nature is so good. Labs are so big and there equipments are highly costly. But faculty members said to handle us. Labs are constructed newly and it's also clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and lovely. All faculty members are knowledgeable and have Ph.D. degree. This helps us solve any problem. Passing percentage is minimum 40%. There will be facility of a makeup exam for backlog students to pass and score CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because chemical engineering is core branch. There is low competition here.

Balanced academics and campus life.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students from our batch were successfully placed. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package stood at 5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. Nearly 60% of students received internships, mostly in IT and core companies such as Cognizant and L&T. The top roles offered are software developer, QA analyst, data analyst, and system engineer. Placement support and training provided by the college are very helpful.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, fully equipped labs, and a library. The hostel is decent with proper cleanliness. Mess food is average but hygienic. Medical help is available, and there are good sports and gym facilities on campus.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive and well-qualified. The faculty members are well-qualified and very supportive throughout the course. They explain concepts clearly and help students whenever needed. The curriculum is updated as per industry needs and includes practical exposure. Exams are conducted regularly and fairly, and the pass percentage is good.
Other: The college regularly organizes seminars, workshops and industrial visits that enhance practical knowledge. Various student clubs and technical events help in overall development. Campus is safe and student friendly, creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Modern, well-maintained campus with smart classrooms, labs, a central library, and Wi-Fi.
Placements: Process engineer role, design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical manufacturing processes. Industries include oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. Skills needed are mass & heat transfers, thermodynamics, and simulation tools (Aspen Plus, DWSIM). Fresher salary (India) 3-6 LPA. In a production engineer/plant engineer role, supervise daily plant operations, ensure quality, and manage manpower. Industries are of fertilizers, cement, sugar mills, and polymer industries. Skills are equipment handling, SOP knowledge, and shift work. Fresher salary 2.5-5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Campus is green, well-maintained with modern classrooms (e.g., digital boards), smart labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, LAN, central and departmental libraries, canteen, sports courts, and bus transport. No official hostels on campus. Students secure nearby PGs or rental housing with meals available.
Faculty: Faculty quality is generally well-qualified (many PhDs), approachable, and supportive, said students. Curriculum autonomous structure allows an updated syllabus aligned with AI/ML, blockchain, big data, blended exams system of ISE, MSE, ESE qualified, industry-experienced faculty. Mixed student feedback, often helpful and approachable; some find strictness and minimal flexibility.
Other: I chose Chemical Engineering because it is a versatile branch that lies at the intersection of science and engineering. I've always been curious about how raw materials are transformed into useful products like fuels, medicine, plastics, and food. Chemical engineering not only explains the science behind these transformations but also trains us to design safe, efficient, and sustainable processes on an industrial scale. Moreover, I was drawn to the wide career scope this field offers, from traditional roles in oil & gas, petrochemicals, and fertilizers to modern applications in environmental technology, data-driven process optimization, and green energy.
