College is the best in Chandigarh.
Placements: 30% of students got placements. The highest package was 10 LPA. 40% of students got internships but mostly students did not get any opportunity for jobs which may be their fault on campus. Overall, the college is the best and I will recommend it to everyone.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college was best. But one thing there was no proper drinking water. The classrooms were neat and clean but there were no ACs in the classrooms. Even in the college canteen which was very disappointing. There must be ACs in classroom and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They even helped students off duty too. The curriculum was very good, it made us industry-ready. There were total four exams in 2 semesters, one of class test and another one was at university level. The passing percentage was 30%.

It’s a good college with a nice environment, making it easy to make new friends and enjoy good food.
Placements: 40% of college students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at DAV College face issues with placement. The lowest salary package offered to students is around 5 lakhs per year, while the highest reaches about 18 lakhs annually. Recruiting companies from abroad will also participate in hiring events. Internship opportunities are minimal, and very few students secure jobs directly through the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good, according to the fee. Labs are also available according to their courses. Wi-Fi is available for all the students everyone can use it. The hostel is also excellent, in one room, two students staying in AC rooms are too expensive in comparison to non-AC rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind, with well-qualified teachers who are continuing their studies. The curriculum is relevant, and it prepares students for the industry. Exams can be tough or easy, depending on your knowledge and preparation.
Other: There is a three-night festival, Star Night, held every year, featuring singers from Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal.

Campus life and academics at DAV.
Placements: There are no placements given to Bachelor of Arts students. However, placements are given for other courses, and big companies participate in them, including Samsung, Apple, and Apollo. However, students are provided with internships to help them upskill, especially in the psychology department.
Infrastructure: There is a three floor library and the classrooms are tidy and airy. We have internet access on campus. There are also projectors. The library also has computer corners, with around 20 computers. There are separate on-campus hostels, and the rooms are well-furnished. Each room also has a balcony, and there is a beauty parlor in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very supportive. I wouldn't say the curriculum is that relevant since we definitely need extra skills to be industry-ready. The exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 33%, I guess. Moreover, the funny thing is that the questions repeat most of the time, so PYQs are a must.
Other: This course is very versatile. There are diverse subjects provided, which are fun to read. DAV is one of the best colleges to opt for a Bachelor's due to its good crowd, knowledgeable professors, and modern facilities. There are various clubs on campus, like the Aesthetica Club for fashion and modeling. The campus is well connected by CTU buses, and good food spots around.

The college has good and supportive teachers.
Placements: No placements for this course. Many placements are available and tie up with many companies you can get that information from the college website as I don't have sufficient information regarding these placements. You can either contact the college official or the students of different courses who got placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a hostel, food, canteen, and labs are available in the college. The benches are not in a good condition. Nails are there on the benches and the benches are clean normal safe. The quality of the food is good. Yograj Cricket Academy is there in the college. There are many alumni of this college in sports such as Neeraj Chopra, Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh, Manu Bhakhar and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are highly responsible, helpful, qualified, knowledge, supportive and experienced. The teaching quality and method is the best. Best teachers are there who are ready to help and support students in each and every possible way. These teachers help us in building the nation.
Other: I choose this course as I am preparing for civil services examinations and it's very helpful that I opted for honors in history as history is my optional subject in my civil services examinations. I wished for NEP implementation during my time but it was implemented last year. I think that was an improvement I wanted. The course fee is around Rs. 23,000 per year, and more than 3200 approximately examination fees, 850 to 950 registration fees and attendance fines vary on your attendance.

Overall good but could be more better.
Placements: I do not know much about placement, but you can find the information regarding placement on our college website. Many companies' advertisements are being posted on our notice section of the students' portals regarding the placement. The college has a tie-up with many companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students in the college campus, but it is not available everywhere in the college. Labs are constructed, but I never visited as I'm from a different department. Windows are broken in most of the classes and nails and screws of benches tears our jeans. The library is good, different books are available, and there's a reading hall as well as air-conditioners are available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable. They help in nation-building. They explain every topic many times if you didn't understand even for a single student. It is a great experience with teachers. The pass percentage of the university is 33%, but for 1 year it was 40%. Semester examinations are easy if you study. If you don't study, that's difficult.

This college is nice and I prefer this college to take admission.
Placements: My college is Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. My college gives a chance for placement on behalf of their course. But there is not any well chance for placement because college does not provide to much placement; that's why I am giving a two-star rating to my college.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are different buildings of hostels for boys and girls. There is also a different mess for both boys and girls. In hostel Wi-Fi facility provided by college requested by student council of college, which includes: President Lavish Sherawat Vice president Mrinal Steta General Secretary Sourav Panwar Joint Secretary Yaima Oiman.
Faculty: Professors are well educated and knowledgeable; they help students but library staff have very poor behavior. When I took admission in college, then I went to the library to take my ID card, and then library staff behaved rudely with me that I don't read the board outside that my ID card is not here, then why did I come here! It is very poor behaviour.
