The placement cell of our college is quite active and supportive. Top companies from IT, finance, consulting, and core engineering fields visit every year. The average package offered is decent compared to similar colleges in the region, and a few students manage to grab really high packages as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it needs proper maintenance, which the college authorities are not doing well. The ceilings are broken. The infrastructure of our college is quite good and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors for smart learning. The library has a wide collection of books, journals, and digital resources, making it a great space for academic research. The campus has well-maintained labs with updated equipment, which helps in practical learning, especially for engineering and Science students.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very good and well-educated. The semester exams are not too hard. If a student is regular and consistent in their studies, then they can easily score good marks in exams. The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, making concepts clear with both theory and practical exposure. The curriculum is fairly updated and includes projects and internships for industry relevance. Exams are a bit rigorous but fair, and with regular study, they're manageable. Overall, a solid academic experience.
Other: This course is very good. The teaching staff for this course is very nice. The connectivity from the metro station and bus stop is very good. But it is far away from the main campus.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty, but some areas need improvement.
Placements: Placements are average, around 35%-40% of students get placed yearly. The highest package is about 21 LPA-23 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Recruiting companies like Deloitte, Wipro, EY, and TCS visit. The placement cell also helps students get internships, though many go for off-campus options.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, updated labs, a big library, and campus Wi-Fi. Sports facilities are available, and the canteen serves hygienic food. Hostel facilities are limited but decent. Overall, the environment is supportive of academics and activities.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. They explain concepts clearly and guide students well. The curriculum is updated and relevant, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with proper preparation, most students pass comfortably.
Other: This is not a value for money college in different aspects, but value for money in different aspects.

3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college has good faculty, campus life, and strong infrastructure, but placements can be improved
Placements: The placement percentage was 38.2% for the 2023 batch, some sources suggest an overall of 50-60%. The highest package was 21.50 LPA in 2023, the average package was 7 LPA, and the median package was 4.25-4.5 LPA. The lowest package was not officially published, anecdotal Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month, that is 1.8-2.4 LPA. Top recruiters are Wipro, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, Willis Tower Watson, EY, Axis Bank, Deloitte, etc. Internship placement rate is not officially available, anecdotal reports suggest high rates in some cases. The highest stipend is 20,000 per month (max reported). The roles offered are HR, data analytics, content writing, business development, finance, software engineer, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is one of the few DU colleges with a modern and fully-equipped campus. The academic infrastructure is well-developed to meet the needs of different courses and departments. All classrooms are spacious, furnished with projectors, whiteboards, and are Wi-Fi enabled, which makes the teaching-learning process more interactive. For science and technology-oriented courses, the college has advanced laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Botany, Zoology, and Computer Science. These labs are equipped with modern instruments and computing facilities, allowing students to perform practical experiments and research work effectively.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and deliver quality teaching. The curriculum is relevant, with a balance of theory and practical, but industry readiness improves with internships. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is generally above 90%.
Other: I chose my course at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC, DU) because of its strong academic reputation, affordable fees, and DU's brand value. The best aspects of the course are its balanced curriculum, practical exposure, supportive faculty, and good placement opportunities. However, the curriculum can sometimes feel theory-heavy, and more industry tie-ups, internships, and skill-based training would make it even better. In short, the course offers a great mix of academics, extracurricular activities, and campus life, though more industry integration could improve it further.

Ranking - Placed 26th overall by NIRF in 2024, in 2025 ranked 13th for science, 18th for commerce.
Placements: Placement rate was about 38% in 2023 (58 of 148 enrolled students placed) with average package of 7 LPA, and the highest up to 21.5 LPA. Top sectors included management and consulting (46%), marketing and sales (31%), and analytics (23%). Other sources estimate placement rates in commerce/BMS at 60-70% with average package of 6 LPA to 7 LPA, science placements were lower and often oriented towards higher studies or competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Our college is modern. It has multi-storey air-conditioned campus with AC classrooms, labs, auditorium, sports courts, and smart classrooms. Library spans 3 floors (approximately 2,550), housing around 50,000 documents, AC with study cubicles and tables, and internet is equipped.
Faculty: They offer a wide range of UG courses, B.A. (Hons), B.Com (Hons) B.Sc. (Honors across disciplines), BMS, and B.A. (program), also foreign language certificates (French, German, Spanish, Russian). Faculty members are noted to be supportive and highly qualified, especially in science and commerce streams, though academic rigour often requires self-study too.
Other: Hostel facilities include single rooms, mess, and dining halls within the campus. However, the grounds are relatively small for outdoor sports. There are active societies like TEDx, 180 consulting, Polaroid (photography), voices (debate), fins (finance), music, dance, enriching the culture and student life with Kalrav as the annual fest.

Satisfied with the faculty. There are no good placements in 2024. It has excellent infrastructure.
Placements: Around 10% of students got placed in my course. Mostly, students get admission to higher studies or try for government exams like UPSC, SSC, etc. One of my friends from my batch recently qualified for SSC CGL and became an excise inspector. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are HDFC, Physics Wallah, etc. Around 40% of students got internships from my course in companies like Kotak Mahindra Bank. The top roles offered are assistant manager, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: My college has a very good infrastructure. Our department has a separate library where students get course-related books issued for a semester or a year. Air-conditioned classrooms and labs are available with a Wi-Fi Facility. I didn't opt for the hostel, so I don't know about it. The quality of food available in our canteen is good and hygienic. Our college has a separate medical room for students. Sports facility is also good. It includes a badminton court, table tennis, football ground, etc. A gym is also available there.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and helpful. All professors, assistant professors, and other teachers are highly qualified and experienced. All teachers have their own teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant but only for those who either want to go for higher studies in mathematics or want to get a job in the teaching line. Semester exams are not very difficult. If we study timely during our semester, go to classes regularly, and listen to teachers, we can easily score good CGPA in our semester. The passing criteria is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in mathematics. I want to become a teacher of mathematics. The best thing about my course is that it gives us a deep knowledge of mathematics we studied in our School. Nothing I thought should be improved in my course. This course is best in its curriculum and syllabus. Different events are organised by different societies and clubs during the annual cultural fest and during the whole session also. Our college is located in Dwarka sector 2 and there is a bus stop nearby and the nearest metro station is Dwarka Mor. Different scholarships are also available there.

Satisfied with labs, infrastructure, and teachers.
Placements: The students of Delhi University pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce have secured the highest package of 30 Lacs and the lowest package of 10 lacs. Nearly 50% of the students received internships at major companies like Google and Flipkart. The roles offered in my course include analyst, salesman, and accountant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-designed and developed. All facilities are good; the college has computer labs where students can easily learn machine learning and robotics. All necessary books are readily available. Quality food is offered in the mess, and medical and sports facilities are also accessible.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and motivated. Not so hard and not so easy, the exams are average. Students easily pass the exam. They are motivating and supportive in every field. Teachers are helpful, and all are qualified. Their teaching quality is also good enough.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to develop financial skills through company visits and work on company projects. Fest is too good and on our campus 2 fests are held in one year. All scholarships are available according to their number.

From different sources that I could go through, the cutoffs in the year 2022 were set between 94 to 96 for different BSc courses which are offered by this college. Cutoffs very every year and it depends on the number of seats available for admission and also the results of the CUET examination. In the year 2023 either the paper was little soft  or the students were now aware of what type of questions are asked and as a result more than 20000 students have scored 100 percentile. Not only this the students who have scored percentile above 95 are more than two and half lakh. Of course this is all India figure and this test is applicable for all the Central University across India and therefore it can be safely assumed that not all the students will come up to colleges under Delhi University.  Be that as it may, this is bound to increase the competition and as a result it is expected that the cutoffs for the year 2023 for BSc courses may increase by one or two percentiles.
Best wishes to you.
