Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, lack of seriousness, and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not an issue to worry about, you will definitely get placed. The package will be around 2 LPA to 5 LPA, depending on your ability. The top companies are IHCL, ITC, Oberoi, and Rossiet. The same goes for internships, with a 100% placement rate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nowhere close to the course, and the hostel is still under construction. The library is well-maintained but not very big, you can enjoy some quiet time there, as it is the only place with peace in the institute. The mess food lacks hygiene, and plates sometimes contain mouse waste when we wash them to have our food.
Faculty: Some faculty members hold a lot of ego with no knowledge. Even some subjects are taught by teachers who themselves don't know anything about the subject. The course curriculum is not relevant compared to other IHMs or SIHMs, and it definitely doesn't make students industry-ready.

Excellent Training and Placement Opportunities .
Placements: 85% students placed the highest package - 10 LPA the lowest Package - 3 LPA Top Recruiters - The Oberoi Group, IHCL, ITC Hotels Division, IHG etc. Students are placed across the wide hierarchical spectrum ranging from entry level associate to Assistant Manager. Industrial Training is mandatory for all to undergo and is taken care of by the college itself.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average sized to support about 40 students. Laboratories, Kitchens, model restaurants and guest rooms, library etc. Are also available for practical purposes. Other facilities include mess, Playground, ancillary store for kitchen practicals etc. Mess Food is cooked by the students themselves .
Faculty: Helpful, knowledgeable faculty Makes the students ready for the industry Provides opportunity for placements and training Examinations conducted as per NCHMCT Board's guidelines The course and the curriculum is industry relevant and a perfect blend of practical and theoretical skills with industrial exposure.
Other: Extracurricular activities, annual day, parvs, theme lunches are held and are sometimes a part of the curriculum. A decent attendance is maintained each year with an above average crowd.

Review of Delhi Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DIHMCT).
Placements: Around 100% of placements are guaranteed however the quality of the placements depends on students' marks and skills such as speaking, thinking, spontaneity, etc. Some of the top roles offered are management trainee programs of various 5-star and 7-star hotels such as Taj, Oberois, etc.
Infrastructure: This college is not very big but is very decent. All the required facilities are in a very good condition in this college, and the locality is good. A hostel is also under construction now. The rooms are spacious and tidy, daily cleaning is done, and students have a mock restaurant also for the depth of knowledge and love practicals.
Faculty: Due to the covid-19 situation, most exams have been online however no issues have been faced by the students. The exams are very well conducted. The semester exams are easy to pass if students have the proper knowledge.
Other: I opted for this course because this industry teaches students a lot about discipline, hard work how to work with a team, socialize with people, and travel and these are some of the traits which I would love to have in my career.

It is the best college to pursue hotel management.
Placements: As this industry is booming and never-ending, there are plenty of job opportunities after completing the course. The top roles offered in our course are management trainee and operational trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good as it has everything that any hotel management college needs. Our college has a huge playground. The food provided in the mess is okay but not great. The hostel is not available currently, but in a few years, it will be available as the work is in progress.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and knowledgeable. As you all know, it is a practical course, so skills matter a lot, so all the professors are the best in their department. The most important thing about this course is that after completing it, you will find yourself totally different from others because this industry will rinse and grind to get the best from you. The semester exams are moderate and if you listen to your classes, then it is easy to pass in all years.
Other: It's one of the best courses if you feel inclined towards hospitality and you have a passion as well as patience to serve others. Many events take place within the college. You will get a chance to interact with big hoteliers, and from there you can learn how you can achieve more success in your life. It is not a college, it's a family where if you are in trouble, everyone will help you resolve your problem.

It is one of the best government colleges in Delhi.
Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed in the course. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies including Quick Service Restaurant and Hotel Chains are Oberoi, Taj, ITC, InterContinental Hospitality Group, and Taco Bell. Almost 100% of students get internships in all leading hotel chains. Top roles which are offered are management trainee and operation trainees.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and practical labs are well maintained and have enough material for practicals. Library is spread in a large area and has almost every book needed by a student. Hostel is under construction and will be ready for operation by the first quarter of 2022. The quality of food served in the mess is good and it is prepared by students of the 3rd and 4th semesters. Medical facilities are good in the college and it has different clubs respective of sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and experienced in the industry. Teaching quality of teachers is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and it will make students industry-ready especially the 17-week industrial training program. Exams are moderate and a student must secure 75% marks to be eligible for appearing in interviews.
Other: As such, there is nothing that is required to be changed. Everything is good about the course as it is one of the best courses in hotel management in India.

It has improved infrastructure. It has decent placements and good faculty members.
Placements: The placement percentage in our college is more than 70%, but due to COVID-19, placements have taken a great disappointment. The training and placement cell try to bring more companies. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Oberoi, IHG, Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements. A top role offered is a management trainee, and after 2 years, one will directly become the assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure has improved, right from washrooms to the bakery and restaurants. Everything has been remodeled during COVID-19. However, classrooms are not impressive with old furniture and boards. Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. A small library is available. There is no canteen. Sports week is conducted every year, but the ground is not much wide.
Faculty: The pass percentage is more than 85%. Teachers in our college are well-qualified and helpful. Seminars are conducted by the college where industry experts come to interact with students. Industrial training is mandatory. Semester exams are of an average difficulty level.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it makes you job-ready. HM graduates are more professional and have much more exposure than any other industry graduate. The campus crowd is good due to the entrance exam by NCHMCT. Our college conducts extracurricular activities like eco clubs and sports week. Events like Pryatan Parv and Bharat Parv are organised by the Ministry of Tourism.

College is very good, and teachers help and support students. Infrastructure can be improved.
Placements: The placement percentage is high, but due to Covid, placements were not that good last year. This college offers different courses like bachelors and diplomas. Due to covid, the placement percentage was less.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure needs to be changed as it is an old college. Still, some things have changed. New equipment is installed in the kitchen and bakery. There are proper computer systems in the computer lab. Every type of book is available in the college library. Proper dresses are given to students to maintain uniformity among the students.
Faculty: Faculty members help students in every manner. Exams are very well-planned, and proper distance is maintained between students. CCTV cameras are installed for surveillance. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the college and faculty members. Students get lunch in the college.

It is a great institute. I recommend this college for all who want a career in the hotel industry.
Placements: I was enrolled for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration in DIHM, and I am from the 2017-2020 batch. About 60% of the students obtained jobs from college placements, but due to COVID, many lost their jobs. Even after college, it uses to give updates regarding all jobs in a group so that the college could have 100% placements, which is the best part. The maximum salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Radisson, Marriott, IHG, Taj, Itc Maurya and Park Inn visit our college for placements. An internship is offered to everyone, and students who are not selected in interviews are specially allotted by the college in their affiliated hotels. A top role offered in our college is a management trainee, which is of 18 months after which the individuals will be promoted as a manager immediately.
Infrastructure: The college has many facilities. I feel the facilities are less maintained, but on my recent visit, I noticed they are doing a lot. The hostel facility is available. Lifts and everything is being mended. Wi-Fi facility is available, but it is not for students. Labs and the library are great, with top-notch facilities. The food provided in a mess was made by students only for their practice. The food served was sometimes good and sometimes average as it all depends on students. Sports and extracurricular activities are given quite an attention. There are proper societies for dance, singing, photography, etc., which is highly appreciated. There is no canteen. A small food stall is arranged when counselling of students is done at the start of the semester for the parents and students afterwards only mess food is available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide a lot of practical knowledge. They follow the course curriculum thoroughly and pressurise towards the practical side, which enhances the skills of the individual and their personality. They make students totally ready for the hotel industry. The theory exams are comparatively easy as it is just a common thing, but practicals are tough. The professionals are called from different hotels to take viva and give judgements. The pass percentage is 40% in theory and practical exams individually.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a passion for culinary arts, and it is a professional course, which helps me in enhancing my overall personality. Fests are only organised in 2-3 years as it is difficult to have that much free time as our college has a rule of 75% minimum attendance, and if you do not obtain that much percentage, then they are failed and demoted. The area is great and has all the basic things available nearby. The best part is its connectivity with metro lines both pink, blue and violet line are connected to the institute.
