Hello,
Major differences that are concerning for LLM students are what specializations are offered. The Institute of Law and Research may offer specializations such as International Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Human Rights Law, and Environmental Law whereas on the other hand, MDU offers constitutional law, corporate law, and criminal law. So, you can go for your preference.
Although there are advantages and disadvantages to the LL.M. programs offered by the Institute of Law and Research and the Department of Law at MDU. When evaluating these programs, it's critical to take into account elements like the faculty's experience, the course content, research possibilities, and the alumni network. You might also want to think about the universities' general reputation, campus amenities, and location. In order to make an informed choice based on your unique academic and professional goals, I would advise if at all feasible visiting both the schools.
The minimum eligibility for PhD at Department of Law, MDU is having a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate or its equivalent B grade in UGC seven-point scale in the subject concerned or an allied subject. Yes, you are eligible for PhD at the university.
