The Department of Management Science, Pune University offers a wide array of UG, PG, and doctoral courses in the field of management. Here are some important details of the two most opted courses at PUMBA:

1. MBA: The Department of Management Science, Pune Univeristy (PUMBA) accepts admission in its MBA programme mainly through MH-CET which the Government of Maharashtra conducts under the supervision of DTE. The application process for MBA MH-CET is usually concluded between February and March. Apart from MBA MH-CET, PUMBA also accepts the score of CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA for admission in the MBA programme.
2. BBA: BBA is also one of the most opted courses by students at PUMBA. For admission in the BBA programme, candidates must take the Online Entrance Examination (OEE), which Savitribai Phule Pune University conducts. The application process for Online Entrance Examination (OEE) generally takes place in the month of May & June.

PUMBA offers Master of Business Administration through various National-level and state-level exams inlcuding CAT,  CMAT,  MAT,  ATMA and MAH CET MBA to fulfil the eligibility criteria for final admission rounds. The university considers CAT cutoff for admission only for students who have a valid score. Candidates not meeting the cutoff are not considered for the further admission process.

For CAT, candidates must have an overall percentile of 85. Hence, General category candidates with 86 Percentile and above in CAT exam do stand a chance to get a seat in PUMBA. PUMBA cutoff 2023 for MBA, the minimum cutoff in MAH CET CAP Round 1 was 98.85 Percentile, while the closing cutoff stood at 99.99 Percentile for the General category students. So, going as per the last year cutoff, it is not possible to get into PUMBA at 92.02 Percentile. However, the university considers various other entrance exams like CAT, MAT and CMAT. For CAT, candidates must have an overall percentile of 85, for MAT it is 80 Percentile and for CMAT it is 95 Percentile. In case MHT CET scores are not getting the candidate into PUMBA, then they can apply through any of the other entrance exams. The aforementioned cutoffs are based on previous years and can be anticipated as future cutoffs. 

PUMBA has not released the admission schedule for EMBA programme 2025 admissions. Thus, the last date to apply for the Executive MBA at PUMBA is not available. The institute is expected to open the application portal soon. Once the application portal is live, students must visit the official website of the institute and apply before the deadline.
