Christ University does not publicly disclose the exact cutoff for admission to its MA Media and Communication Studies program. Admission is based on the candidate's performance in the 3-step selection process:Christ University Entrance Exam (CUET)Micro PresentationPersonal InterviewEqual weightage is given to all three rounds, so a candidate needs to perform well in all of them to secure admission. While no official cutoff is available, based on the selection process and course requirements, candidates need to score in the range of 75% to 85% in the entrance exam, micro presentation and interview combined to secure admission. The eligibility for the programme is a bachelor's degree with 50% marks. The entrance exam tests candidates on their aptitude, knowledge of current affairs, and reasoning ability. The micro presentation evaluates the candidate's communication and presentation skills, while the personal interview assesses the candidate's suitability for the course and interest in the field of media and communication. The MA programme focuses on developing skills in areas like advertising, corporate communication, multimedia production, digital journalism, and media research. Internship opportunities are also provided. An estimate of 75% to 85% total marks required across the selection process based on the course details and requirements. However, candidates need to perform well in all three rounds to increase their chances of admission. While no exact cutoff is disclosed, candidates scoring above 85% have a higher probability of securing admission, all else being equal.
