Good placements, learnings and life.

Faculty: The teaching quality is adequate and up to the mark; the course is very extensive and makes us learn about a lot of things in the media field. Exams are not difficult if one studies for them; the pass percentage is almost 100. The semesters are divided into six, and there is a good amount of break amongst the mid-semester and end-semester exams.

Placements: The course consists of 160 students, out of whom 70% get placed easily. The highest earning package is INR 7 LPA, and the lowest is INR 4 LPA. The top ro...

Good infrastructure and campus life with great exposure.

Faculty: The majority of the teachers are genuinely understanding and very knowledgeable. There isn't a set approach or organization for the majority of the curriculum or disciplines. While the course content provided is appropriate for the curriculum, and there are also numerous additional trainings and lectures that assist in preparing the students for the workplace. The tests for the semester are of a fair difficulty. While English and Psychology subjects have written tests at the middle and at the en...

B.A. CEP is a very dynamic course.

Faculty: Faculty members for our course are very efficient. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. scholars who have several years of experience. Since our course is a dynamic course, written exams are less. Most of the subjects are submission-based and are practical in nature as the subjects include photography, strategic storytelling, etc.

Placements: This course is a very dynamic course as it is a triple major degree. It is a bachelor of arts in communication and media, English, and Psychology. Almost 80% of students get ...

Christ University has everything that a student should be offered to learn and grow in and out.

Faculty: Teachers were super knowledgeable and friendly. Teachers are brilliant and are very helpful. They are experienced and give us good moral support. The course curriculum is relevant, gives us more practical knowledge about the industry. Our exposure here was top notch.

Placements: 98% of my batchmates got placed. The highest package offered was 9L-13Lpa, the lowest would be 3Lpa and the average being 5-6Lpa. Cisco, IBM, SAP, are the top recruiters. 100% of students got internships across various media domains....

I am fully satisfied with the course offered here.

Faculty: Teachers here were qualified to teach the course. Their teaching quality was also top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Teachers use various platforms and software to teach students, which make it really worth the time.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Vedanta and Viacom were the top rec...

It is a great college, but it should get better.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. However, there should be better planning of the course curriculum and more coherence within the department. English and Psychology are interesting subjects with great teachers. Assignments are also conducted well. Teachers are good.

Placements: Placements in our college this time are better, but more media-centred companies should visit our college for placements. This time better companies visited our college. The process of placements could be better with involving students as well in the placement cell. Maybe students could be given the opportunity to come and invite more companies as it'll give them an exposure to. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5 to 5-6 LPA. Students should build a good resume in order to get good pla...

Great infrastructure, average faculty and facilities.

Faculty: Like most other colleges, Christ too is focused on theoretical and textbook knowledge with very less practical experience. As a result, we find it very hard to cope up when we go for internships. Except for a handful of teachers, none of them are qualified or interesting enough. It is just traditional PPT and lectures throughout. The curriculum seemed interesting but I don't feel I have known anything more information than I was three years ago.

Placements: Campus placements were started for our course just ...

Holistic experience merging academics, co-curricular activities and building intra-personal skills.

Faculty: The teachers in all departments are approachable and friendly. They are ever-ready to help the students and devote their extra time to help students with their dissertation project. The curriculum is relevant to some extent but according to me, it needs to be more rigorous and industry-focused. For a multi-disciplinary course like MEP, the curriculum must be more flexible for students to develop their knowledge in their preferred major.

Placements: About 60% of students from my batch including all courses, ...

The teachers are knowledgeable and bring in good guest faculty.

Faculty: The lady teachers are quite knowledgeable and lovely in the way they teach Male teachers are also knowledgeable but they lack the teaching skills Otherwise, all the teachers are helpful and try and solve your problems We also get to intern in various fields of media within 2 years.

Placements: The placements usually take place in the month of January. For our seniors, placements went quite well as many of them got placed in good companies. Be it PR, events, newspaper or advertising, most of them got in. ...

Satisfied but too scared of detention.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good. There are always exceptions and some are strict. They are knowledgeable but sometimes pressurized to give too many assignments. Some of the assignments do not make sense and there are too many detention hours for skipping classes. Naresh Rao is the best professor ever. He has taught some of the most brilliant people in the media industry. Suparna Ma'am is the second best. She will make sure you do your work and does not over pressurize any student. The main...

A great place to pursue education.

Faculty: The faculty members are approachable, qualified. Classes always have interactive sessions and well-planned curriculum. The lesson plans implemented are efficient. They invite professionals from outside. The technologies like audio and visual presentations used in the class. They organize workshops and seminars too.

Placements: The placement opportunities are ample enough and satisfactory. The reputed companies come for placements with a good salary package and get placed. Students get an opportunity for an i...

College has experienced faculty members. Infrastructure is very good and greater chances of placement gave me the boost I needed. Rich in its educational heritage, college provided me the background and the support. Faculty members are always up for communication. Administrators always worked for the betterment of the students. Other than academics, discipline has always been integral part of the college. It gave me base to face the corporate challenges.

The college has a good decorum in terms of language and clothing. But the quality of education is less yet exposure is great. The media studies department has a good industry exposure but faculty have less experience in terms of industry and teaching.

Faculty needs to be more student friendly and courses need to be flexible. English department is extremely resourceful. Psychology department needs to have more permanent staff with rather than research scholars teaching. CEP students need to be offered media specialization as that is the sole reason of having chosen the course. Students need to be encouraged to do more than just two internships during college period.

Cool environment with awesome libraries and sports area.

Faculty: The teachers are good here except for some who teach in a monotonous way and rely completely on one-way teaching (no interactions) but the media teachers are too good to make learning fun and interesting. They are very practical and help us develop critical thinking.

Placements: I am in batch 2021-2024. I cannot tell you much about the placements. But I am sure our college is known for its internships and placements and I will get one soon. 25k internships and placements in the beginning. Later according to ...
