Good faculty with a helpful nature, improve placement statistics, and good facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, with most of the faculty having completed their Ph.D., and they are very helpful in nature. They always try to motivate you and encourage you to participate in new activities. The courses are updated and aligned with NEP. Semester exams are like other university exams.

Review of Department of Technology, Shivaji University

Faculty: The curriculum was up to date and included day-to-day updates. In addition, the faculty members had started holding separate classes for communication, interviews, and presentations to make students industry-ready. The exams were quite difficult, even though the passing criteria was 28/70, so many students had backlogs.

Good but not recommended for all.

Faculty: Exams are very difficult due to the university. Strict and no cheating is allowed. Students are very good at academics. Teachers are also good. But due to misinformation, no companies visit this college. This is a government college, but no one takes admission due to placements.

Department of Technology, SUK from final year food technology student's point of view.

Faculty: Faculty staff is good and helpful if you are curious. The curriculum is relevant but needs a little update. Semester exams are easy if lectures are attended by students regularly; otherwise, they are extremely difficult. Teaching quality is very good. Exams are held every six months by the university. Pattern is practical and relevant.

Average College Life of an Average Student.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about the subject they taught. They also supported us with difficult questions, guided us in projects and practical sessions. The teaching was decent but with boring lectures or periods. The course curriculum is not relevant as students do not have practical knowledge about industry work. So, the students are not industry-ready. The semester exams are not pretty tough, but after a few hours of study, you can pass the exam. The theory exam i...

Overall, good campus and teaching have digital boards in every class .

Faculty: The staff is well-qualified, with years of experience and provides good teaching in a simple way. The course is good, but it only covers 50% of what is needed for industry readiness. There are also internships that cover the remaining 50%. The exams are of average difficulty, and passing requires a minimum score of 40, though it may vary depending on the subject.

Good placements and facilities but campus is small.

Faculty: All the teaching and non - teaching staff were helpful. They are much qualified and knowledgeable having Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality is also good. There are internal and external orals before written exam. We need to get atleast 40 marks to pass in written exam.

Shivaji University's DoT is more affordable for B.Tech, with total fees around ?3–3.5 Lacs including tuition.
MITAOE Alandi Pune is costlier, with total fees around ?5–7.5 Lacs including hostel.
If budget is a key factor, DoT Shivaji University is the better choice.
