Absolutely satisfied because of the infrastructure and the good placements in the previous years.
Placements: On average, up to 50% of students were placed on campus.
The lowest package is 3 lacs per year and the highest package is 12 lacs per year. Companies like Philips and other medical industries recruit from here.
We can get in to the roles of biomedical engineer, stock analyst, inspector, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure for performing well in education. We have specific labs for each department. Our department has a lab with basic things—not modern technologies and modern equipment—and also a well-executed systematic arrangement for studying hostels. The hostel contains food items like traditional Tamil Nadu food recipes and the taste and quality are average. The canteen will provide good food, but the expenses will be high and games like football, cricket, basketball, kabaddi, and kho kho are the major team sports, as well as running, high jump, etc.
Faculty: The teachers were great and helped us in our studies. They usually speak in Tamil and English; the pronunciation will be slightly different and the teachers were qualified as undergrads and boost graduates from various institutes. The semester exams were quite difficult because the syllabus was hard and the pass percentage would be 60%.
Other: Because I like to work in the hospital industry and serve people, it is also easy to go abroad by taking this course.
We need to improve the syllabus and add more knowledge about the new equipment, its function and its mechanisms.
