It is a famous college for engineering courses.

Placements: Usually, placement training is started at the very beginning of the final year, so we would seriously attend all the training to compete with others in the drives. The lowest package offered by the recruiters for the talents selected in the drives is 2.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college is known for building strong professional characteristics into students. The college also helps us create a strong bond between us. Hostel students are asked to deal with a lot of security measure, which sometimes creates disturbance while studying.

Faculty: Mostly, grade points decide the students' priority. Teachers often show favouritism and importance to students who perform well in the class. Their difference in treating the students creates an inferiority complex among the students, like me, most of the time.

Review about National Engineering College.

Placements: 90% of students were placed in computer science and engineering. The highest package is 12.5 lacs per annum. The lowest package is 3.5 lacs per annum. The average package is 7.5 lacs per annum Top recruiting companies are Mistral Solution, Zoho, Wipro, Vlinder, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has high-speed internet access available throughout the department and campus. Computer labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software to support a variety of programming and development tasks. Well-furnished rooms with options for single, double, or triple occupancy. Nutritious and balanced meals are provided three times a day. Different cuisines are offered with a rotating menu.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable, with many holding Ph.D.s from reputed institutions. The curriculum is regularly updated every 4 years. Core subjects are algorithms, data structures, operation systems, database management, networking, etc.

Other: I chose computer science and engineering because of my passion for technology and innovation. The rapid advancements in computing and the vast opportunities in the teaching industry were major factors in my decision.

About my college journey.

Placements: It was one of the top colleges to do engineering. I was dreaming of joining this college since my schooling. And now I had joined my dream college in my dream course. I was longing to join computer science and engineering, which have good placement records.

Infrastructure: Our college supports various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The overall facilities available at our college were really good. I was amazed with the infrastructure of our college often. We have a large sports stadium, an open auditorium and close auditoriums too.

Faculty: All our teachers deliver high-quality content. They always focused on maintaining a healthy and eco-friendly campus. They always preferred to take interactive practical sessions rather than blackboard or PPT teaching. And they made remarkable achievements in academics too.

National Engineering College.

Placements: The highest salary package that was offered from National Engineering College is 19.5 Lacs per annum. We never bother about placement activities because nearly 50+ companies approach our campus for placement drives yearly. To perform well in such drives, we have a lot of training sessions.

Infrastructure: We are served with hygienic and nutritious food. The food is available at all times on our campus. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls students, and there are certain restrictions on student movements outside the campus. They maintain a neat and healthy campus.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very strict and question us on every small thing. They always expect perfection from our work. They are very motivating and encouraging and believe in us more than we believe in ourselves. They also clarify all our doubts without any hesitation.

Placements: Our students got placed with an average salary package of up to 4.2 Lacs per annum. Infrastructure: It’s a healthy, hygienic, and peaceful environment to pursue our higher education. We have friendly faculty members in our college, and they arrange all the medical facilities within our campus. They also provide all the necessary facilities for our students.

It is the best college in this locality.

Placements: The college has an active placement cell which organises various training programs and encourages entrepreneurial skills in students. Both technical and soft skill classes are conducted by professional trainers every semester. Professional trainers are invited to campus from outside. BEC courses were also conducted for improving the communication skills of students. Both top MNCs and startup companies visit the campus and recruit candidates every year.

Infrastructure: The college has spacious classrooms and auditorium. There is an excellent library, and it is the best part of NEC. Sports and games are available in the college at an average level. There are well-equipped labs, and they are updated whenever needed as per the curriculum. There are separate hostels for both men and women. Hostels have moderate facilities only. Excellent bus services are provided for day scholars. Food provided in the canteen is hygienic, and snacks and refreshments are available all the time.

Faculty: Faculty in our college are knowledgeable, but only a few had the teaching skills. Teaching aids like presentation and demonstration were also used. They also attend technical seminars and update their knowledge with the latest trends. Periodic evaluations are conducted which help students score high. The student to faculty ratio was reasonable. Individual attention is paid to the students. Extra efforts were also put by teachers to provide academic support to students. Tutor system is the best in NEC. I can never forget my tutors in my life.

Other: Extracurricular activities are the best in the college. Technical fest, events and club activities are very encouraging and improve students' soft skills. Many activities are interesting and also students participating from other colleges like it very much. Scholarships are provided to the eligible students every year.

Average placements and academics.

Placements: To increase the placements, our senior placement in-charge often sends invitations to various companies for campus drives. Our in-charges invite various companies on separate days to involve all the students without fail. The minimum salary package for the students who got placed is 19,000 per month.

Infrastructure: In the hostel, we have separate time slots for studying and eating. During study hours, our in-charges collect all our mobiles from us. The most disappointing thing in the hostel is that they won't appoint any separate in-charges for the hostel; instead, any of our faculty are allocated to such positions. So we definitely lost our freedom in the hostel areas.

Faculty: Our teachers surely give priority to some students, but they say that they treat everyone equally. Academic results keep on increasing every year. Because of their appraisals, rewards, and repeated tests, the academic grades of each and every student have improved.

A college with good campus and infrastructure

Placements: A student who scored above 87 percentage they are easily selected for the placements. The highest package of 5 to 6 LPA and the lowest package of 2 to 3 Lac per annum are offered in my course. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL and some other companies are the major recruiters. 85 percent is required by students to get internships from the Infosys and TCS companies in my course.

Infrastructure: A classroom in my department looks very clean and Wi-Fi connections are available for the students with unlimited data. 2 libraries are available. Hostels are very comfortable where healthy and tasty foods are available. Also, nice snacks are available in the canteen and one pharmacy is available in my college. One big ground is available and they conduct the sports of cricket, football, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: Teachers behave like friends and parents with students. They also taught very well and they are easily understandable. And yes, the course curriculum is relevant. My colleges are autonomous so question papers are printed in my college. 35 percent is enough to pass here.

Other: I am interested in coding and programming so I chose the Computer Science department for higher studies. The creativity and learning provided here improved me a lot. However, the annual festival must be conducted in a year.
