Review of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College.
Placements: 100% of students were placed in core companies, and now they started their career on their own. The names of the top recruiters, Omega, VEE Technologies, Wipro, Zoho, etc., were included in the campus interview and lots of students were selected for these companies.
Infrastructure: In my course, the subjects were easily understandable because of the well-trained staff and faculty members. There was lots of time to explain, even though the staff explained it crisply and clearly to the students for a good understanding of the subject. The hostel also provides some more study time and during that time the students can share their class experience and exchange thoughts about what they learned in class that day.
Faculty: As always, I said about the faculty who are working in their subject for nearly 5 to 6 years and so they are all well trained, even for the slow learners. The exams are conducted each and every day after lessons are finished. These exams encourage the students to attend the semester without hesitation or fear.
Other: The surrounding space were clean and neat. The campus was also surrounded by agricultural land for the agri-students. There were lots of bus stands, three canteens, six buildings with separate departments, car parking, bike parking, etc.

A vast college with small minded management but fee is fine for course but not for college life.
Placements: Mostly, IT companies and medical companies recruited students from this course. Medical representatives and call center companies visited our campus but the salary packages were very less so I prefer not to go for that if you take biomedical engineering. I got placed in Capgemini and worked in GE Healthcare as a client.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average and about 30 students can occupy a lab. For the first year, there was only a common lab. From the second year, you can get specific labs for specific departments and subjects. There were about 200 college buses for the college so day scholars can easily come to college.
Faculty: Mostly, faculty members teach in Tamil only. Faculty members are the reason for lowering the standards of the college and teaching. The management is also not trying to get good faculty members. They are going on with low salaried professors so the teaching standard gets low.
Other: The surrounding of the college is a remote area so you need to travel 5 km to reach a city.

Placements: The 2021-2025 batch of B.E. Biomedical Engineering achieved a notable placement percentage of 75%. The highest package secured was 12 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was 4 Lacs per annum, with an average package of 11 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters included Academor, Knacktech, and BArm Private Limited. Additionally, 70% of the students secured internships with these prominent companies, gaining valuable industry experience. The top roles offered to graduates were Research and Development Engineer, Medical Device Developer, and Biomedical Equipment Engineer.

Other: As a B.E. Biomedical Engineering student from the 2021-2025 batch, I chose this course for its unique blend of engineering and medicine. The best aspects of my course are its interdisciplinary learning experience, hands-on experience with medical equipment, and research opportunities. I wish for more industry collaborations and inclusion of emerging technologies in the curriculum. Our campus hosts various events, fests, and workshops, with a diverse and inclusive community. Merit-based scholarships, extracurricular activities, and modern infrastructure add to the overall experience.

I am satisfied because of good infrastructure and teaching methodology of faculty members.
Placements: Around 95% of the students get placed from college every year. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered was more than Rs. 50,000 per month. Zenifo is the top company that conducted the placement on our campus. Some recruited university rank holders are also in our department. The role is to service medical equipment.
Infrastructure: In each department has separate blocks, and each block has separate Wi-Fi facilities. Our campus is always clean and neat. In labs, there is equipment that is helpful to improve our technical skills. In our hostel medical facilities, water facilities, etc., are available. The pharmacy available at our campus helps during emergency time.
Faculty: Teachers in our college guide us to improve our knowledge with the online course, etc. They are qualified with PhD and are well-knowledgeable persons. They share their knowledge during the class, and guide us to improve our technical skills and knowledge.
Other: I opted for biomedical engineering because it is one of the most interesting courses in both medical and engineering.

Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed in top companies. The starting salary offered ranges from Rs. 18,000 to 35,000 per month. The team manager and biomedical engineer are the roles offered to students. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 18,000 per month. Around 15 to 30 students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Computer labs have a very high-tech infrastructure, and Wi-Fi facilities are always available. About 3,000 students are using at the same time. The hostel has good facilities, and it is always clean and hygienic. The food served in the hostel is very healthy, and the taste is excellent. It's clean and good to health.
Faculty: Staff members here are well educated, and they can teach us apart from the books also. They are enough to train the students for university exams. Internals marks depend only on students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: I have an interest in the medical field, so I chose biomedical engineering. The instrument knowledge is the best thing about this course. I wish that our college should provide training for students in this course and should provide in-depth system knowledge. Nakshatra is a huge fest organised in this college. Many film actors and actresses visit during fests to make it special.
