Candidate must not be below 17 years or above 21 years of age as on 1st August 2024. The upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed by 3 years for SC and ST (i.e. 24 years). The upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed upto 22 years in the case of B.Sc. passed candidate. The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam [with a valid PRC of assam issued by the competent authority.] Candidates must be physically and mentally fit (Medical certificate from Medical officer/ Medical Practitioner to be submitted) Candidates who have passed 3- Year Diploma in engineering and technology under state council for technical education, Assam with 45% (40% reserved category) in final diploma examination are also eligible to apply
