Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) - Batch of 2019

I am really dissatisfied with the miserable campus and insufficient faculty members.
Placements: Around 49 students in the batch of 2017 passed out in 2019. 16 out of 49 got selected in the competitive examination of REET 2021. Some are in the private sector now. Internships are compulsory in both the years, of 1+ 6 months, 1 month in the first year and 6 months in the 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are poor. There is no pure water for drinking. Separate washrooms are available girls and boys, but they are not hygienic. There is an old building, and it is really miserable. There is a hostel, but the facilities are not good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not so helpful. They are not enough in number. The faculty do not come to the class regularly. The course curriculum is relevant. The passing percentage is 99%.

    Students also asked

    Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
    A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

    ·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

    ·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

    ·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

    Additional options:

    ·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

    ·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.
