DOMS IIT Roorkee Scholarships and Funding

The total tuition fee for DoMS IIT Roorkee PhD is INR 35,600. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates have to pay the course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat in the institute. Besides, aspirants also need to pay INR 200 (INR 100 for SC/ ST/ PD category) for PhD course.
DOMS IIT Roorkee offers tuition fee waiver to students pursuing a course from the institute. Below is the criteria to avail the fee waiver:
Full Tuition Fee Waiver– It is offered to the most economically backward students having a family income of less than INR 1 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year.
2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver– It is available to economically backward students having a family income in the range of INR 1 LPA to INR 5 LPA during the previous financial year or current assessment year

Placements: 90% of the batch was placed. The highest package was 18 LPA and was 6 LPA. Top recruiters were KPMG India, Bristlecone, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, etc. There are student exchange programmes with some of the top universities around the world which also is an added perk of studying in this university.
Placements: Nearly 85% of students in the every stream are placed. Some students favour higher education. The quality of placements at IITR is excellent, with leading firms like Microsoft, supportive placement and internship cells, and 87% of candidates are placed across all the fields.
Placements: Every year there are 100% placements with great packages and quite a few big brands visit the campus for recruitment. The department plays a very supportive role when it comes to placements by providing proper placement preparation to the students.
Placements: Not all students get placed through campus placements. Students have to get placements on their own. Some legacy recruiters visit here every year for recruitment. Apart from them, the placement committee almost doesn't make any effort to get students placed.
Placements: This course has a strength of 90 students and the placement rate is 98%, only who opt out are not eligible. One can see the report on the college site. The highest salary package offered was 54 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 9.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top companies are KPMG, Rbs, Infosys, Oyo, etc. Summer internships are handled by the college placement team, and it's 100%.
Placements: Currently, I am pushing the MBA from this college, so I don't know about current placements. As per the previous report, There are 100% placements, along with summer placements. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 57 LPA by international companies. The average salary package offered is around 9.5 LPA. To get admission in IIT Roorkee MSc, students have to appear for the IIT JAM exam. Students have to then particpate in centralised counselling through which seats are allocated. Selected students have to report for verification of documents and pay the admission fees to complete the process.
